When I first started noticing reiki and the energy I felt within my hands I was about 15. I played around with energy sensing and qui gong, yoga, witch craft and tried go get in tune with my intuitive side. As an adult still being drawn to it, I received my reiki level 1 and 2. Mostly I had just practiced on friends and family. And then I felt as if I was blocked and couldnt acess the energy anymore. That was my post partum depression kicking in. It took me a long time to get back to that light receiving energy I once had. Suddenly I woke up in the middle of the night and had a strong urge to do reiki. So I did it for my sister, and the next day she had told me her headache that wouldnt go away was gone. And that my intuitive message I got from the reading was accurate. I then felt the urge to continue and keep doing long distance reiki. One night while I was drifting to sleep I heard clear as day an african women speak in my ear. In yoruba she said, "ugebe" I then googled it and turns out there is a song called ugebe. It was about being the master of your destiny, and Devine healer. This is what I was ment to do. I am drawn to heal others more and more everyday. I now know this is my life path. And i thank my ancestors for giving me the message to follow that path.
