Mental illness can affect anyone, regardless of gender. male or female. It has no regard for age, whether young or old; it has no regard for ethnicity, race, color, or credential. It knows no standards of love, rich or poor.

We're here to help and educate all of you! Let's talk about mental health problems. As part of the current youth, we first-hand experienced how hard and challenging it was for oneself and peers around us to be vocal about problems, and through this project, we hope to bring life to the testament, "A problem shared is sometimes a problem halved."

It's time to stop the stigma. Stop overthinking and bullying about skin color, family problems, peer pressure, anxiety, and stress because your feelings have value. Your emotions are valid. Seek health. Express yourself. LET'S FIGHT THIS PROBLEM TOGETHER.

Communicating is an important aspect of our mental health that should not be ignored, yet many do. Some may think that suppressing and keeping their emotions bottled up helps, as they think they’ll just be a burden but we’re here to tell you that you're not and they don’t help. To demonstrate this, we have gathered stories of students who have faced challenging or psychologically taxing circumstances in the past and found relief in talking it out with those around them.

Most of you may find their stories shocking, but keep in mind that not everyone has had an easy life; in the end, you'll be able to realize how much communication has helped them as much as how it can help you. Remember that you are never fighting a battle alone. It's acceptable to not always feel happy. Don't be afraid to show what you really feel and know that being able to tell someone a problem can be the most freeing thing that we can experience.
