Can I just take a moment to introduce you to my Bad@$$ client, ? Despite battling multiple complex conditions like lipedema, ME/chronic fatigue, MCAS, EDS and POTS for decades, she continues to fight fiercely, all while educating herself and others who are going through similar situations. She recently started a podcast where she shares all the knowledge she has acquired.

A bittersweet farewell to . I am eternally grateful for the opportunities I have had throughout the years and for the brilliant colleagues I have had the honor of working alongside. Together, we have developed unique programs that I am so proud of, we've helped some of the most inspiring patients, and shared priceless memories that I will always cherish.

Goodbyes are always hard, but I leave with a full heart and a deep appreciation for everything this chapter has given me.

I enter this next phase full of excitement as I now focus solely on my private practice and carry all my experiences forward to the next chapter!

What an incredible opportunity to learn the Perrin Technique from Dr. Raymond Perrin himself.

Dr. Perrin is an osteopath and neuroscientist based in the UK who has helped countless individuals all over the world suffering from ME/CFS, fibromyalgia and long covid. I am excited to see his research and outcomes continue to gain traction and recognition as more studies continue to be conducted!

4 weeks post-surgery! I am feeling great and wanted to share a few things that have helped me.

For the first two weeks, my surgeon wanted me wearing compression 24/7. The Hugger Prima bra was a game changer for my comfort and pain management. I have been recommending this bra to my lymphedema patients for years and now I can say from first hand experience that it really provides great compression, containment, and coverage. I also used a wedge pillow to keep my upper body slightly inclined during sleep.

After week 2, I started light scar work with extra care because of the tissue rearrangement that was done. There were a couple small fibrotic spots developing and I was ready to get out of the heavier duty Prairie Wear bra so I transitioned to the Comprevest with the full radial chip pad insert. This bra is much lighter and more comfortable, and I love that you can insert different chip pads based on patient needs. Both bras have great axilla coverage (shown in the second picture), and although I didn't need it, this is always on my mind as a

In weeks 3 and 4, I started slightly firmer scar work. Oh, and of course you know your girl's been performing self-MLD this whole time!

2 more weeks until I'm clear of all my restrictions and back in full effect! Many thanks to my clients and patients who have been so understanding and supportive throughout my recovery. I appreciate everyone's texts and messages SO MUCH 🥰 I can't wait to see y'all again soon!

Today I underwent a wire-directed segmental resection (basically a lumpectomy) of flat epithelial atypia in my breast (i.e. potentially pre-cancerous cells).

Normally I'm a very private person... But in honor of , a belated , and as I still mourn the recent passing of my beloved young friend, from her battle with breast cancer, the timing of this post just seems so fitting. I would really like to highlight the importance of cancer screenings. Early detection and treatment saves lives.

Through an MRI-guided, vacuum assisted, core biopsy in late 2023, the atypical cells were found in my left breast. After having a conversation with my surgeon, and maybe due to the fact that I work with so many , I decided to have them removed. What each person decides to do for their treatment is their own personal choice and should be respected, but having as much information as possible before making a decision is so very important.

I am so grateful to have an incredible surgeon like and to have received such excellent care at . Now I wait for the final pathology report 🤞 I am feeling great so far but I will be out of commission for a while due to my lifting restrictions. I promise I will be a good patient, Dr. Khan 😅

As an entrepreneur, I am always inspired when I meet amazing people like Jay Park aka who have accomplished such incredible things yet stay so humble. To go from musical artist to starting a record label and now launching so that he can introduce Korean soju to the world is no small feat.

Nope, this has nothing to do with lymphatics, but I truly love when I meet such inspiring humans. Thank you for the business advice, Jay - I will always stay true to my heart 🫶

Hello world! I think it's about time I formally introduce myself for those who do not know me yet.

🤗 My name is Tina and I am the owner/therapist at OC Lymphatics. I am a doctor of occupational therapy, a certified lymphedema therapist, and LANA certified specialist, which is the highest level of credentialing available in North America.

✌️ While completing my doctoral residency and fellowship at the Keck Medical Center of USC, I was introduced to and quickly fell in love with the world of lymphatics. In fact, I still work there as a senior therapist which keeps me on my toes as I treat some of the most complex lymphatic cases and get to train and teach future amazing therapists. Go trojans!

🤓 I've had the honor of speaking at various conferences across the US (and hopefully globally in the near future) and am a published author (DM for journal articles!)

🥳 Where the FUN comes in for me is through blending my experience with the MEDICAL world of lymphatics with the AESTHETIC world as I help people recover from cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries. There's a lot of wild stuff going on out there and I use science to inform my treatments.
