I don’t share this story to scare anyone away from supplements.
I share it because it explains why I approach them the way I do now.
For a long time, I thought I was the problem.
So I tried harder.
📋 I followed the plan.
🧑⚕️ Took everything as prescribed.
🫡 Did what I was told.
When things got worse instead of better, I assumed my body was just “too much” or “too complicated.”
What I eventually learned is that effort wasn’t the issue.
The plan was too generic.
It simply didn’t account for how PMDD bodies actually work.
Nobody taught me how to make sense of it all.
No timing.
No PMDD perspective.
No connecting the dots.
Just a protocol—
that forgot I’m a person. 😓
If you’ve ever blamed yourself when a protocol didn’t work, you’re not alone.
Over the next few posts, I’ll be sharing more about why supplements often fall flat with PMDD — and what actually makes the difference.
