Rest In Peace, Carl Carlton. Prayers to his family 🙏🏾💙🕊 He was best known for his 1974 hit . Carl Carlton died from complications from a stroke he suffered years ago. He was 72 years old.

"Act FAST" when you or someone you love is experiencing a stroke: Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, and Time to call 911 immediately because every minute counts for brain health. Look for one-sided facial droop, inability to lift one arm, slurred speech, or confusion; if any are present, call for emergency help right away for prompt treatment. Don't lie down and don't wait to see if it will pass.

tPA (Tissue Plasminogen Activator, or Alteplase) is a powerful "clot-busting" medication and the gold standard for treating acute ischemic strokes. It should be administered within 3 to 4.5 hours of symptom onset to restore blood flow and minimize brain damage.
