Hello everyone!

I'll be hosting outdoor yoga classes every Saturday morning (weather allowing) in a beautiful park in Woodbridge (Hwy 7 and Islington Ave).

My goal is to help you become aware of your body and mind, and to feel restored, calm, balanced, and grounded in your day to day life.
I’m hoping to bring a beautiful community of like-minded people together and to help us all release, relax, and re-set.

The “fight-or-flight” mechanism of survival is controlled by the sympathetic nervous system. When you perceive danger that is real or even imagined, your body goes into protection mode. You become more alert and your body focuses on the functions that it needs to survive in that moment.

In the parasympathetic nervous system, we see the mechanisms of restoration and rejuvenation. The body needs to be here to heal. We can encourage the body into the parasympathetic nervous system by breathing slowly and deeply, softening our muscles, and resting so that the body can surrender and move into a state of relaxation.
