Today, on World Autism Awareness Day 2026, the Kenya Association of Clinical Pathologists stands with families, caregivers, and communities around the world.

Autism affects 1 in 127 people globally and is a lifelong condition that impacts communication, behavior, and social interaction. Yet many individuals still face stigma, discrimination, and limited access to essential healthcare and support services.

Early diagnosis, inclusive care, and strong community support can greatly improve quality of life.

As clinical pathologists, we are committed to supporting accurate diagnosis and strengthening healthcare systems to ensure no one is left behind.

Let us continue to promote understanding, acceptance, and inclusion.
