I have a longstanding love affair with mangos. When I think about what's on my soul food list, they easily come to mind. I have memories of climbing mango trees and devouring their flesh without a care in the world. The deliciousness of the fruit, with the breeze on my skin, and the sweetness of the juice as it flowed down my arms...some of my best childhood memories.

So imagine my delight when I discovered that mangos are indeed a super food.

I would encourage you to consider them when you are planning your diet during pregnancy and postpartum. Mangos are great for men’s health as well. I also included the benefit in the list.

Here is the list:

-potent antioxidant activity
- anti-inflammatory
- protects the heart
- protects the liver
- decreased cholesterol synthesis
- has anti-diabetic actions especially extracts from mango leaves
- improves gastrointestinal health including digestion
- promotes vision because of high Vitamin A content
- source of Potassium - improves blood pressure and heart rate
- source of Vitamin B6, C & E
- boosts immunity
- promotes healthy mucous membranes
- excellent for skin
-rich in glutamine which improves memory
- rich in GABA which is a neurotransmitter associated with stress, anxiety and sleep
- boosts men's s*x drive and virility

Second, must have strategy, don’t just network with anyone. Third, have one on one conversations. Fourth, have courage. Fifth, break rules to go forward.
