Every year the Environmental Working Group (EWG) releases two lists on pesticide levels in produce: the Dirty Dozen & the Clean Fifteen 🍓🥑🥦

🧪 The Dirty Dozen, listed in order from most to least contaminated, includes fruits and vegetables with the highest levels of pesticide residues. 👉 These are best bought organic, especially for babies and young children.

🌿 The Clean Fifteen, ranked from the cleanest, includes produce with the lowest levels of pesticide contamination, making them fine to buy conventionally grown (non-organic).

These lists help you prioritize when to buy organic 🤍.

A month ago, we made the hardest decision and left with a heavy heart ❤️‍🩹.
I have no words for the cruelty and injustice of the world we live in. I’m doing my best to stay positive for Amelia, but it’s difficult. I see people and children in other countries enjoying a simple life, while we and our children have to live in constant stress, surrounded by the sounds of bombs and planes.
I keep asking myself, how is this fair? We truly don’t deserve what is happening to us.

I don’t know what kind of Lebanon we will come back to, but I hope it’s a Lebanon where we can live in peace, where our children can enjoy the simple pleasures of life as other children do.

I feel helpless, but for now, all we can do is donate and support those in need. It is the Lebanese people who are the country’s greatest hope 🙏🏻.
Here are two accounts run by supermoms that I’m redirecting donations to:
and a group of moms are providing essentials like food, mattresses, blankets, cleaning supplies… for displaced people.
is doing the impossible to supply displaced children across all Lebanon with diapers and milk.

I pray that this nightmare ends soon.
I pray for justice and for the peace we so desperately need and deserve.
Above all, I pray for a better, safer, and more just world for our children.

The Clean Fifteen and Dirty Dozen refer to the list of fruits and vegetables with the highest and lowest pesticide residues.
The Dirty Dozen lists produce with the highest pesticide residues, so are best bought organic. While the Clean Fifteen includes produce with the least pesticide contamination, so they don’t need to be organic.
These lists can help consumers make informed decisions about which fruits and vegetables to prioritize buying organic.

Most babies with food allergies outgrow them.
You can introduce the top allergens as soon as your baby starts solids.
Evidence has shown that delaying the introduction increases the risk of developing allergies, rather than preventing them.
