The City of Biñan successfully participated in the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Mentoring for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management in Health (DRRM-H), featuring a series of tabletop exercises aimed at strengthening DRRM-H strategies at all levels.
The activity was conducted by the Health Emergency Management Bureau (HEMB) of the Department of Health, in collaboration with the Regional DRRM-H.
Results showed that the City of Biñan scored high, demonstrating a highly evident and functional DRRM-H system. The tabletop exercises highlighted the City’s strong capacity in health emergency and disaster response management, with participants showing a high level of knowledge and competence in executing appropriate response processes across various simulated scenarios.
This initiative further underscores the City of Biñan’s commitment to building resilient health systems and ensuring readiness for health emergencies and disasters. 💪🏥
