Meet Dr Jordan Vincent - another one of our fabulous emergency doctors.

Dr Vincent’s training started in Otago where he attended med school (and was recognised with numerous scholarships and awards) before moving north. He’s worked in various hospitals across the North Island including Hawke’s Bay, Auckland, Tauranga and Waikato.

In addition to medicine, this family man is also passionate about the outdoors and aviation.

Let's meet Dr Thiri Aug-Holebrook.

Dr Aung-Holebrook has spent much of the last decade as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Auckland Hospital. She thrives on the pace and pressure of a big city ED but has also cared for acutely unwell patients without the resources of a tertiary hospital.

Outside of work, Dr Aung-Holebrook relishes in keeping fit and has competed in triathlon and Ironman races. Ka pai tō mahi!

Ever seen one of these?

Knowing where defibrillators are means you can get them quickly in an emergency 🏃

If someone is in cardiac arrest and you need to open one of these:
1️⃣Call 111 and ask for an ambulance 🚑
2️⃣Tell our call handler what is happening and request the access code (if required)
3️⃣Put in the code they give you and open the box
4️⃣Take the defibrillator to the patient and continue following our instructions

These instructions are also on the front of the lockboxes. This system helps keep defibrillators in the right places so they are there when needed 💛
