WHAT I WISH EVERY WOMAN KNEW ABOUT NUTRITION
Embrace imperfection, instead of all or nothing: Rather than striving for perfect adherence to dietary rules, focus on making gradual changes.
Add more of the things that make you feel good: Approach this as looking at a plate of food and asking, "What can I add, not what can I take away?"
Hustle culture is disconnecting us from our bodies and hunger cues: This drive for constant achievement can result in disregarding when we’re truly hungry or full, as we prioritize work and responsibilities over listening to our bodies. Going for a walk in nature, slowing down, and being mindful of our choices helps us break free from those societal standards.
Food is so much more than just a number: It’s a source of pleasure and fulfillment that goes beyond its role in maintaining physical health, enriching our lives with its ability to create experiences and evoke emotions.
If I am being honest with you, this is just scratching the surface. As a 1990s and 2000s girlie 👋, we were taught to eat less, be skinny, and then you'll ultimately be happy. That's complete BS.
What’s one thing diet culture has taught you? That's FALSE. Drop your thoughts in the comments. 👇👇
