Good morning everyone,

A little social head's up post ๐Ÿค—
and look at things to come.

As some of you know, and some may not, I also work as a psyhic channel. I know, talk about next level hippy and eccentric!! ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ˜„

It all started a long, long time ago when I worked as a Reiki Practitioner and lived in the big smoke of Melbourne (Australia). One day I was with a client and a message came through to start doing Readings. Well far out I didn't think that would be possible and I was very nervous to be passing on information that was just out of the ether.

Time passed and I got better and better at this Readings business.

I work intuitively on all levels; parenting, gardening, communication, living. There is not one moment of my life that is not dedicated to a high Spiritual awakening.

This being the case you can't be too clingy with your ideas, agenda or goals. You really must be ready to drop tools at any moment and move whever you are called; be that geogrpahically or emotionally or mentally.

This can present a stuggle with the ego's ideas of who you are, what you are meant to be doing, being useful and productive and all that. You can also incur MUCH judgment. Be that as it may the only way I know is to follow guidance with as much surrender as I can muster ๐Ÿ™

All this being said I've received guidance to not post on this page anymore but to just focus on my Readings, which I absolutely LOVE doing. Recently I have been doing more and more Doc Readings; that is when someone asks for a Reading and tells me pretty much nothing and I channel the Reading for them into a Word Doc and then attach it to a private message or send it as an email.

My advice to you when you garden, when you eat, when you choose food, when you interact with others, (if you are wanting to live a more connected and self-suffient life) is to come from love and kindness, come from honesty.

Put your fears aside as the false alarms they are. Listen to your own guidance, listen to your body and heart. Be a good friend, a good person and live in love. Don't let your programming, fears and belief in lack or punishment or victimhood get in the way of you living in love and happiness.

It is hard, I know. But it can be done, look at me. I am not perfect (far from it!) but I, like you, am learning so be kind to me, be kind to yourself.

If you are interested, follow my Readings Page.

p.s. please don't kill and eat animals, please be kind to our natural world. You will not find more loving, good friends then the animals and our natural world.

What a big day! ๐Ÿฅฑ
I did so much but there is one thing I did that has taken me ages and ages to learn and that was to stop and rest when I felt I needed to ๐Ÿ˜

After an incredibly wonderful morning at my dress-making class and spreading light and love all around with smiles and chatter to everyone I saw, stranger or not, I felt my rest needed indicators, and rather than just ignoring them I actually took heed.

You might not think this is such a big deal but it is for me. In this culture of busyness where pushing through and getting ahead (I laugh at this because I always hear get a head, as in get a brain, as in get with it ๐Ÿ˜‚) are commended and celebrated it's no small feat to train yourself to notice and act upon your need to rest indicators, so I feel like a huge success! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ

Would you believe along with the radical act of resting in public I also closed my eyes ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณI did!

AND I didn't look at my phone or read a book or talk to anyone. I closed my eyes and savoured the feeling of sitting down, allowed myself to feel my inner aliveness and did a little gentle breathwork RIGHT THERE in the cafe.

I was of course the only one doing this which I thought was actually pretty boring of everyone.

โœŠRest IS resistance!

Resistance against all the busyness culture stands for which is poor mental health, illness, deforestation, roadkill, financial debt, stress, su***de and so very much more.

So join me and rest a little each day ๐Ÿฅฐ

Remember you are a human BEING not human DOING ๐Ÿ˜‰

Betcha don't know what these are!
For the FIRST TIME in the history of baking Honey and I bring you Choloate Callitas! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ‘ฏ

They are a thinly rolled melted coconut oil heavy cardamon and chocolate biscuit with a slight crunch. I came up with the recipe, Honey the name and we are feeling pretty pleased with our recipe creation ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Also, they are delicious!!

๐Ÿ’›A good dose of malt syrup and chopped jaggery give them a toffee sort of taste, besan flour makes them a little chewy, whole wheat flour gives them spring, salt balances the flours, raw sugar ensures they are sweet. A very good dose of roasted cocoa is complemented by the vanilla essence.

Totally vegan and organic, 100% hand-made - Chocolate Callitas are the go!

I asked Honey what a callita is and she said she didn't know, but it's a good name for a biscuit. I agree!๐Ÿ˜‰

Love and blessings for a fun weekend ๐Ÿคธโ€โ™€๏ธ

As you move through life why not use all your tools?

I can lay a crystal grid ๐Ÿ™Œ

What's a tool or skill you have that's a bit unusual?

After all that I only had to move the birdbath ๐Ÿ˜†

I was sitting watching a male and a female Faery Wren along with one new Holland Honey Eater in the bird bath today, ducking in and out of the shelter of the grevillea branches to play in the water and enjoy quick dips.

That bird bath has sat in the garden for months and all it's really done is provide fresh water for European Wasps. So what changed?

Just it's location ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ˜
.. and I thought 'yep, just one step this way or that brings us into flow'.

Did you know that fennel is queen when it comes to good digestion? ๐Ÿฅฐ

Tonight for dinner I am roasting up the fennel bulbs pictured that I just cut from our garden. The whole roasted bulbs will be delicious and they will up the overall digestion of the rest of the meal ๐Ÿ˜‹

Last night I had about 1/4 teaspoon of dried organic fennel seeds from the shop in a cup of boiling water with my dinner, also to up digestion.

๐ŸŒฑIn Indian restaurants, it is common to see a small dish of fennel seeds and sugar by the cash register with a teaspoon. The idea is that as you pay you take a small amount of sugar and fennel seeds to crunch which aids the digestion of your meal and the sugar hits the sweet spot which stops you from wanting to overeat.

I often have just a pinch or two of sugar after a meal to end the meal satiated which stops me from looking for more food or sweets ๐Ÿค

Fennel itself is sweet so by eating fennel seeds after a meal you are not only aiding digestion but also helping yourself to not overeat.

In Ayurvedic wisdom it is advised to eat some food, some warm liquid and to leave air in the stomach for digestion. By having some fennel at the end of the meal with some sugar grains you won't overeat and viola you have your air/ying/space to digest your meal โ˜ฏ

๐ŸคฒThe amount to eat in any meal is called Anjali. Angali is the amount of food that will fit into your hands when they are cupped and placed together.

Something else to think about is that when you consider digestion, please remember it is not your food that you wish to fully digest but also the experiences in your life, your feelings, thoughts, and the imprints of your actions.

I often have clients who are not digesting their life well, they present with stomach issues and feel stressed and tired.

Eat fennel regularly to aid the digestion of your food, feelings, and life experiences ๐Ÿค—

I LOVE watching my own videos because I always think 'gee I make sense!' This is one of my favourite videos because I do make so much sense. Let's forget that pretty much everything I do and say is channeled by Higher Self so my ego can be a bit puffed up for a minute ๐Ÿ˜

In this six-minute video, I talk about how we can marry our action mind with our meditative mind. The Ying and the Yang โ˜ฏ๏ธ

By doing this you will find you have far more energy, less stress, and much less sting in your life.

So take the sting out of activity by using your meditative mind instead of your monkey mind ๐Ÿ™Œ

Relaxing bee watching? Yes please ๐Ÿค—

๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ˜Š
In this three minute video I'll share with you some things to look out for to assess the health of your beehive without opening it ๐Ÿ‘Opening up the hive is stressful to bees.

This hive came into this box which doesn't have frames. They have built their own wax forms, and manage their honey and propolis. We do not harvest this honey, it's their home.

This is one of my favourite yin activities. That's to say an activity that calms my nervous system, bee watching g ๐Ÿ˜Š

Bees can smell emotion, so it's a good thing I sat here feeling calm to begin with. I wonder if I'd been stressed I'd have gotten a sting ๐Ÿคญ

You'll notice a beautiful relaxed hum from the bees, and also the way they are drifting in and out of the hive. Signs the hive is relaxed.

What's a yin activity you do regularly?

04/10/2023

Without a doubt, the cause of many of our ailments, the cause of our stress is that we are out of alignment with the Ying side of things. We do this by cramming every little space with something to do.

I feel it, I see it, I know it.

Often when we wake up we start listing all the Yang/action things we need to do.

๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธWhy not also list the Ying things you need to do?

๐Ÿ’ซToday I need to sit in the sunshine.
๐Ÿ’ซToday I need to have a nanna nap.
๐Ÿ’ซToday I will eat slowly and sit still after lunch.

It's about time we gave voice to the space we need in our lives.

๐Ÿ™See that space as important, and useful.

So today, go and stare into space and do absolutely nothing. What you are also doing is digesting your food and experiences, re-setting your nervous system, allowing intuitive guidance room to emerge, and integrating all the levels of you.

What you are not doing is wasting time.

๐Ÿ’›Do you think this daffodil is perfect?

๐ŸฅฐDo you think it is beautiful?

๐ŸงHow do you feel when you look at it?

If you have not said, 'No it's not beautiful because an insect has eaten a bit out of its petals and I also think it's not worth looking at because it's just not perfect', then why would you look in the mirror and say that to yourself?

There is no such thing as perfect. But there is such a thing as beautiful if that is what you see.

Look in the mirror, look at your life, and see how beautiful it is because we all have insect bites taken out and oh well, that's just a sign of life ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Are you going to race around trying to make your life so-called perfect?
Is that how you are actually going to spend your life 'till you die?
Or are you going to accept the beauty and life you can see and enjoy it?

Stop striving for perfection and stand up in the sunshine and smile like this daffodil who I think we all agree is beautiful.

It's a tough gig, a tough gig indeed, and an important one.

๐ŸงWhen were you last 'bored'? I don't mean in a tedious situation but I mean the last time you just stared into space for ages and let whatever comes into your mind just come.
๐ŸคจWhen was the last time you laid down and looked up at the clouds passing by?
๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธWhen was the last time you did nothing?

The other day Honey and I sat on the driveway. I laid back and looked at the leaves of the trees against the blue sky and Honey made what I think is a beautiful flower work of art with flowers in a love heart shape.

We didn't set out to do these things, we just went out and sat down and this is what happened.

What will manifest today if you leave it space? ๐Ÿ’›

The more space you leave in your life the more life will surprise you ๐Ÿค—
Space to heal, to feel, to allow, to rest, and to just be bored.
To let your mind wander, to let your body sink into the ground or a chair, to have a long chat on the phone with a friend.

You don't need to be busy the whole time, don't let the busyness culture claim your nervous system.
