During the month of March, pilots of the Recovery Fun system were successfully conducted at the INRCA - Istituto di Ricovero e Cura a Carattere Scientifico hospital in Ancona, in preparation for the upcoming trial starting in a few weeks. Five patients who had suffered a stroke participated in the pilot within a protected environment.

The experimentation will continue at the Italian hospital, Trainm Clinics center in Belgium, and Zurzach Care in Switzerland. Following a training, user and caregiver will be able to take home the Recovery Fun system to use autonomously for upper limb rehabilitation.

On Thursday, February 8th, Engineer Lorena Rossi (INRCA - Istituto di Ricovero e Cura a Carattere Scientifico) took the stage during an event coordinated and hosted by the scientific high school Liceo Scientifico Galileo Galilei Ancona .

The focus of her presentation was on ๐€๐ˆ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐‘๐จ๐›๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐Œ๐ž๐๐ข๐œ๐ข๐ง๐ž. Engineer Giacomo Cucchieri provided insights into the functions of the Nao robot, while Engineer Claudia Franceschetti demonstrated the use of the Visor with Recovery Fun.

The live demos with young students showcased not only a keen interest in the ๐•๐ข๐ซ๐ญ๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ ๐‘๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ device from a technological standpoint but also its relevance to home assistance.

The event, promoted by pensioners' unions (Spi Cgil Marche, FNP Cisl Marche, Uil Pensionati Marche), establishes a crucial link with the new generations who will play a pivotal role in utilizing these cutting-edge technologies in the healthcare sector.

๐Ÿ”Ž It was a very productive two days of work in which technical and end-user partners are well aligned on the ๐๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐š๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ญ๐จ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฌ.

During the Mid-Term Review last April, we were fortunate to learn more about the ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ง๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ of the Reviewers, the Programme Officer and also the Contac Point of the Italian Ministry of Health.

"it was a very positive experience with the reviewer that was really collaborative", were the words of project coordinator Lorena Rossi , who sees the near future of the Recovery Fun project in a positive light.

Three very productive days have just been spent in Antwerp where all project partners met for the ๐Œ๐ข๐-๐“๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ ๐‘๐ž๐ฏ๐ข๐ž๐ฐ.

Day 1 - ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ซ๐ž๐ฏ๐ข๐ž๐ฐ: The consortium finalised the system demo and project presentation.

Day 2 - ๐Œ๐ข๐-๐“๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ ๐‘๐ž๐ฏ๐ข๐ž๐ฐ: AAL Programme Reviewers, Programme Officer and the national contact point of Italian Ministero della Salute analysed and discussed together with the partners the status of the project.

Day 3 - ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐Œ๐ž๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ : The members planned the steps to be taken in the near future following the important contributions received.

Many topics were discussed:
-Some ๐ญ๐ž๐œ๐ก๐ง๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ issues were resolved
-Fine-tuning of the system ๐ฌ๐ž๐ง๐ฌ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ
-Discussion after the ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ๐ฌ with clinicians and carers
-Evaluation after the first ๐ซ๐š๐ฉ๐ข๐ ๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฌ with end-users

The partners from Switzerland, Italy, Belgium and Romania then planned the next steps of the project in preparation for the ๐Œ๐ข๐ ๐“๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ ๐‘๐ž๐ฏ๐ข๐ž๐ฐ in April and the ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐š๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ at the beginning of June.
