I'm not quite sure how I missed September but looking back it did pass by quickly and now we are already at the end of October with Halloween looming tomorrow. This year is flying by! New pages have just been posted and I hope that there is something to interest you there. This month: visit the British Ironworks Centre and see some amazing sculptures, knit, crochet or sew a hat to comfort a child suffering from cancer, accept that anxiety before a medical test is inevitable and understandable, try to find the good in every day however difficult it may seem and read my thoughts on living in a village. Book wise discover more about the practices carried out in a mother and baby home several decades ago - a shocking, disturbing and yet sometimes uplifting read. It's been a tricky month so sending out special hugs to those also experiencing difficult, sad and worrying times. Snuggle up with a cosy blanket, a hot drink and maybe a pet or two and enjoy a read. 😄
