• ✔️ Mas tumpak kaysa isang beses na FBS (fasting sugar) kasi nakikita ang trend.
• ✔️ Masasabi kung kontrolado ba ang diabetes o hindi.
• ✔️ Mataas na HbA1c = mas mataas ang risk sa komplikasyon tulad ng sakit sa puso, bato, mata, at nerbiyos.
• ✔️ Kapag nasa target ang HbA1c, ibig sabihin mas ligtas ka laban sa komplikasyon.

Ano ang Target?

Para sa karamihan ng may diabetes:
🎯 HbA1c < 7% (depende sa payo ng doktor).
