It is with much satisfaction that we unveil to the world Ned’s Head, for extra personal protection in these changing times.
South Australian companies, Arid and Kyron have joined forces to quickly design, prototype and manufacture a face shield that is made in Australia from 100% recyclable and cleanable materials. Their combined design and manufacturing experience allow for a robust and safe design that is much more comfortable and practical to wear for long work shifts.
Visual cues through facial expressions are vital for the most effective communication and the large clear screen which allows for natural head movement is perfect for customer facing staff. The medical grade foam used is breathable and does not cause irritation or slipping with sweating.
The shields are waterproof and effective at stopping liquid from splashing or spraying onto the face. They can be produced in large volumes quite quickly and materials have been sourced to allow production into the foreseeable future.
