This speech therapy session focused on the following goals using the Melissa and Doug house: 1) Requesting using 2 word phrases. For example, “keys please” or “help me”. 2) Following directions using location phrases “in”, “out”, “on” and “behind”. 3) Increasing sentence length through imitation and expansion. This cutie would say “red” and the therapist expands to “red door". 🗣️ Always remember: follow the child’s lead, use functional goals, keep it fun!
