Did you know that store-bought salad dressings are often packed with bad fats, sugars, and even preservatives?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s true. That’s why making your own dressings is the best option to ensure that you are getting the good fats you need without the unnecessary additives. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One of my favorite and simple dressings that can be used on any kind of salad (even potato salad) is below. You can make more if you want and it will last in the fridge for a few days - but this is so simple I prefer to make it fresh.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ingredients:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-1 tablespoon lemon juice (or your vinegar of choice)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-Salt and freshly ground pepper⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-Oregano (to taste)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-Garlic powder or infused oil (to taste)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To prepare:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In a small bowl, combine all ingredients and whisk with a fork until combined.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Note: The ratio for dressings is usually 3 parts oil and 1 part vinegar so scale up as needed.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I've been working on "cleaning up" my beauty products and have had a hard time finding a natural deodorant that I like. That is until I found Real Purity! It is a roll-on liquid so it's not chalky, it smells great, and it works better than most of the others that I've tried! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

BREATHE - One of the first things I learned at was a breathing technique by . The 4:7:8 breathing technique is a natural tranquilizer for your nervous system and helps to calm your body. This is a great tool for when you're feeling stressed and/or anxious, or when you're trying to fall asleep but your mind won't let you. This exercise is super simple and can be done anywhere.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Inhale quietly through your nose for 4 seconds.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Hold your breath for 7 seconds.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Exhale completely through your mouth, making a whoosh sound for 8 seconds. Make sure it's all one big breath.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. Inhale again, and repeat 3 times for a total of 4 breaths. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
