Originally the bible was in Latin only, and the “common people” were not educated in Latin.
The people spoke English, and had to rely on the priest to interpret.
All this to maintain the illusion.

What does working with a deity mean for you?

This is a topic where most people who are into the path or in the process of spiritual awakening and witchcraft tend to misunderstand.

Working with a deity means you are working with your ascended spirit. This is in the form of your astral body meeting up with them in their astral form. They are in no way around to please humanity and are not spirit guides either. We have beckoned them to be able to bring us blessings in our day to day lives. However, being their prophetess or agent can be considered in our modern era as a form of working for them rather than working alongside with them.

On the side note, stating working with the gods or goddesses may mean something different for many others, lets say instilling the presence and the aspects of the deity themselves.

Feeling inspired lately?
Magical Oils had been around and used for centuries but were mainly used as medicine and perfume. The ancient mystics doesn't really have them nor use them at all!
In witchcraft and folklore we have something called anointing which is by far the most accurate word to describe the uses of these concoctions. Heavily spelled or blessed by goddesses and ethereal energies, they are frequently used to enhance and empower the self.
