Hello my friends!
Welcome to Move Slow + Breathe Big - a little corner of the internet where I share yoga, meditation, and other wellness offerings. My name is Kendra Pickren and I'm so glad you're here.
As the name implies, my style of teaching is focused on slowing down. We get grounded in our breath and direct awareness into each unique sensation, thought, and emotion that occurs as we move through poses. I believe that nobody knows your body better than you do, and that you will always be your own best teacher. I encourage students to trust this innate body wisdom and to move in ways that feel intuitive and liberating.
If we haven't met, I'd love to change that - virtually or in person! My current schedule as of April 2021 offers public, donation based classes in Forsyth Park. We practice Sunday's at 9am, and Tuesday's at 6pm. $5-10 donations are always appreciated, but never required, meaning that if you need class to be free, it's free.
If you're interested in a private 1:1 session or small group private sessions, please reach out to me by email at moveslowbreathebig@gmail.com. We'll schedule a consultation to go over your background and what you're looking for in your practice. These types of sessions offer sliding scale pricing to match your budget and can be done as one-off classes or "class pack" style.
