Aristotle and Arm Curls
Aristotle describes four types of character as it pertains to virtue, ranging from virtuous to vicious.
Virtuous Person
Knows what is right, wants to do what is right, and does what is right
Continent Person
Knows what is right, does not want to do what is right, but does what is right anyway
Incontinent Person
Knows what is right but does not do it
Vicious Person
Wants to do wrong, does wrong, and does not think it is wrong
Which of these resonates with you?
If your nutrition plan is to eat legumes, fish, vegetables, and chia seeds, do you love it and do it willingly?
If you have a leg day planned, do you force yourself to do it even though you really don’t want to?
Do you argue with yourself trying to avoid grabbing a donut from the box sitting on the office break table, but you end up eating one (or two) anyway?
Or are you blissfully sitting on your sofa all day streaming shows and chowing on junk food, content as can be?
