Medications: If you develop an allergy to a medication, and you report it to your doctor, your doctor will not notify your pharmacy, so it's important for you to notify both your doctor and your pharmacy. Also, your doctor does not always notify your pharmacy if a medication has been discontinued or dosage changed. Another reason why it's very important to keep a current list of medications with you when you go to your doctor and your pharmacy! Any time the doctor makes a change, let the pharmacy know!
