Endometriosis is when tissue that should be lining the uterus lines other areas outside of the uterus. That can include the pelvis, abdomen, bladder, and bowel.

I had the opportunity to represent UAB and our fertility preservation program at the annual Collaborative Group of the Americas Inherited GI Cancers meeting in Nashville 🎶 this weekend.

It was an honor to share about the impact and importance of a fertility preservation consult during the tragic and life-altering time of a new cancer diagnosis in a young patient’s life - at times in the middle of their prime reproductive years.

The quick 24 hours away for some to relax while Jeremy held down the fort with the kiddos back home , was also so lovely ♥️
