Two happiness resolutions for 2026: forgiveness and gratitude.

It wasn't rational, but I blamed myself for my hearing loss in the beginning: I was deficient in some way. I felt my friends and family must regret having to accommodate me. Today, I am.....mostly grateful. How about you?

Main Topic: Hearing loss can affect personal and work life

According to Better Health Channel, hearing loss can affect a person in three main ways:
1. fewer educational and job opportunities due to impaired communication
2. social withdrawal due to reduced access to services and difficulties communicating with others
3. emotional problems caused by a drop in self-esteem and confidence.
