Essentially Complete, LLC A unique source of information and encouragement to heal the body and lose weight--no drugs, no chem I became an avid reader of everything natural health.

About the founder, Pam Van Camp:
I was inspired to start this page because there was so much illness and death in my own family, and conventional medicine did not seem to be the answer. In my immediate family, my father died at the age of 57 from a massive heart attack, my sister died at 43 of cancer, and at the age of 46 my brother also died of cancer. My mother had surgery to remove a small cancerous tumor in her thyroid, but the surgeon chose to remove the entire thyroid, leaving her dependent on thyroid hormone drugs for the rest of her life. My baby sister was diagnosed with high blood pressure and chose the treatment route of lifetime medication. It was on my mind all of the time that I was going to be next. When I started to do some research, I came across information about natural health and how it has cured people of many illnesses, including late stage cancer and heart disease. I have found that, with proper nutrition and elimination of toxins, just about every dis-ease of the body can be prevented and cured! I am so impressed that I want to share it with everyone! Since I began my journey toward natural health, I have lost nearly 40 lbs and am healthier and happier (and easier to live with) than I have ever been in my life! I hope I can help you get to that point too! Education: I have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, and I took one year of formal Natural Health classes. I research natural health by reading book after book, and internet articles from sources I trust. Natural, whole body healing is my passion, and I share what I know and as I learn. The Missing Amino Acid Behind Poor Sleep, Rapid Aging, and Emotional Instability

There’s a silent deficiency running through modern physiology, and it has nothing to do with vitamins, carbs, fats, or minerals. The missing piece is an amino acid so fundamental to human repair that your bones, skin, liver, bile, cartilage, sleep patterns, and mood regulation all rely on it.

That amino acid is glycine.

Thin Mint Cookies
* 1 1/4 cups almond flour
* 1/4 cup cocoa powder
* 1/8 tsp salt
* 3 tbsp maple syrup, room temperature
* 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
* 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
Chocolate Coating
• 6 oz dark or semi-sweet chocolate (I use dairy-free and refined sudar-free chocolate)
* 2-3 tsp coconut oil
* 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
*
Instructions
1. Make the dough: In a bowl, mix the almond flour, cocoa powder, and salt then add the maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and peppermint extract. Stir until a dough forms.
2. Chill: Place the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes.
3. Shape the cookies: Roll the dough between two pieces of parchment paper to about 1/4-inch thickness. Cut into rounds using a small circular cookie cutter or the rim of a small glass. Remove excess dough and transfer the cookies (still on parchment) to a baking tray. Repeat this step until all of the dough is used.
4. Bake: Bake at 350°F for 8-10 minutes, being careful to avoid overbaking. Let cookies cool completely on the tray.
5. Make the coating: Once the cookies have cooled, melt the chocolate and coconut oil together, then stir in the peppermint extract.
6. Dip: Coat each cookie in the melted chocolate and place back on the parchment-lined tray. Freeze (or refrigerate) until the chocolate is set. Dig in and enjoy!
7. Store: Store in the fridge or freezer. (Highly recommend enjoying them frozen!)

HOW I LOST 40 LBS
(in a Nutshell)

• Gluten free, low grain diet.
• Never mix proteins with simple carbs.
• Eat plenty of complex carbs.
• Only eat fresh fruit 20 minutes before or 3 hours after other food.
• Severely limit processed food.

The key is to make it faster and easier for the gut to absorb and process the nutrients. Nutrient deficiency, along with toxic overload, causes weight gain.

Make it a lifestyle, not a diet, because once you go back to a toxic diet, the weight will pile back on. (Speaking from experience.)

Salt has long been demonized for its association with high blood pressure and heart disease. However, recent revelations challenge this long-held belief. Dr. Bryan Ardis points out that saline (salt water) is used as an emergency treatment for stroke-level blood pressure, with 9,000 mg of saline being a life-saving dosage. This contradiction calls into question the narrative that salt is inherently harmful.

What if the true issue isn’t salt itself but how it is consumed and in what amounts? Salt has essential roles in maintaining fluid balance, nerve function, and even hormonal regulation. Higher sodium intake, in fact, has been linked to increased longevity and better health outcomes in certain populations.

Salt's reputation is in need of a major overhaul. In moderation, and when part of a balanced diet, it can actually be beneficial for your body. The key lies in understanding the balance and the quality of salt consumed. 🌿💪
