Warriors. It’s been a while.
We’ve been moving through so many emotions over the past several months that we weren’t sure where to start.
So let’s start where we are.
Fear. Gratitude. Outrage. Grief.
Simultaneously. Moving like the tides. In and out. Back and forth. Pausing and flowing.
Like the breath. We are still breathing.
Breath lends power to stillness.
Stillness lends power to observation.
Observation lends power to truth.
Truth lends power to action.
Action lends power to change.
But let’s start where we are. Right here, with the breath.

We know from our experience in recovery that it’s not enough to just treat the symptoms, but that it is critical to address & heal the root cause of suffering. We also know that healing looks different for everyone. Sometimes it’s quiet, & sometimes you have to burn things down to the ground.
To our friends and all those affected by racial inequality & injustice, to those fighting for your right to simply exist in this world...
