To mark the month-long observance of World Hypertension Day, from 17th May 2025 to 16th June 2025, a walkathon was organized in Pherzawl District, followed by addresses from the Chief Guest and Guest of Honours. The event was led by the Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, and Additional SP of Pherzawl District.Kudos to the District Nodal Officer, District Program Manager, and the NCD Division of Pherzawl for their dedication in making this initiative a success. Despite being a hard-to-reach area in Manipur, this effort highlights how the state is truly reaching the unreached in its fight against non-communicable diseases (NCDs), overcoming unique geographical and logistical challenges.
