The Municipality of Dueñas Launched the Bakuna Eskwela at Aurora Araneta Memorial Elementary School on August 18, 2025

Bakuna Eskwela was successfully launched on August 18, 2025 in the Municipality of Dueñas. The program was held at Aurora Araneta Elementary School.

Lending support to the activity were DepED PSDS Dr. Ma. Angie Padernilla, School Head Mrs. Fe Conde, Barangay Officials of Brgy. Calaca-an and Local Government Unit of Dueñas.

The Dueñas LGU expressed strong support for Bakuna Eskwela 2025. Present during the activity were EA Erving P. Labid representing Hon. Robert Martin U. Pama together with Sangguniang Bayan Members Hon. Pia June Pama (Chairperson Committee on Health), Hon. Marigie Palmares, Hon. Ireneo Lumayno, Hon. Ronald Paclibar and Hon. Edwin Sorongon.

Representing the Iloilo Provincial Health Office, PHO I Dr. Rodney Labis gave an overview of School Based Immunization (SBI) and its importance.

Grade 1 and Grade 4 female learners were given SBI doses by Dueñas Municipal Health Office staff and DOH HRH.
