Our Social Sustainability Summit left us equally humbled and energized by the level of engagement, connection and impact we witnessed from our APAC community.

Changemakers across corporate, real estate, policy and finance industries convened to help us redefine what sustainable business looks like in the region.

Attendees took in current-day case studies showcasing how organizations like ING, the UN Global Compact Network Singapore and CapitaLand Development are turning purpose into performance.

We also announced the launch of our newest resource for reporting on social impact and well-being performance, the WELL–GRI Social Topic Standards Alignment Tool.

Lastly, we had the pleasure of celebrating some of our 2025 IWBI Award Recipients, individuals, organizations and projects that are dedicated toward advancing health and well-being for everyone.

Catch some of our favorite moments captured behind the camera!

Healthy buildings are a growing movement. In this conversation with HPAC Engineering, IWBI’s Jason Hartke shares a timely pulse check on where the market stands today, and where it’s headed.

It’s an easy listen, with practical insights on:
→ The momentum behind healthier buildings across sectors.
→ Why policy and advocacy are playing an increasingly important role in advancing indoor environmental quality (IAQ).
→ How federal legislative attention to health, buildings and resilience is creating real reasons for optimism.
→ How growing activity at the state and local level—often with low or no-cost strategies—is accelerating progress even faster.

As the policy landscape evolves, one thing is clear: the pathway to healthier buildings is becoming more actionable, scalable and urgent.

At our WELL 2026 Social Sustainability Summit in Singapore today, we launched the WELL–GRI Social Topic Standards Alignment Tool.

At IWBI, we are elevating sustainability standards beyond buildings—integrating them into corporate strategy, operations, reporting, and financing mechanisms in order to generate broader societal and community impact.

The synergy between WELL’s performance-driven approach and GRI’s disclosure architecture presents a meaningful opportunity to bridge asset-level action with entity-level reporting excellence. Organizations can use this tool to translate health, well-being and social impact into the language of one of the world’s most widely adopted frameworks.

Today is World Health Day, with a theme aligned to our mission: "Together for health. Stand with science."

It's thanks to science and an evolving evidence base that we can understand more about the relationship between the built environment and human health than ever before.

🧱 We know how to create spaces that enhance – rather than hinder – health and well-being.
🚰 We can measure – and then improve – the quality of our air, water and light.
📐 We can design environments that fuel our bodies, move us, keep us connected, inspire our best work and facilitate a good night's sleep.

This , together, we .
