CT's online peer-led community by young people, for young people. We know what it’s like to feel alone, stressed, worried, sad, and angry.

TurningPointCT.org was developed by young people in Connecticut who are in recovery from mental health and substance use issues. We’ve lived through the ups and downs of self-harm, drugs and alcohol, and the struggle to find help. Thankfully, we found what worked for us. Our goal is to provide information and support to help you choose your path so that you don’t have to struggle the way we did. So, welcome to TurningPointCT.org—guiding your search for mental wellness. Our mission is to empower teens and young adults in their search for emotional and mental health. Our website will help you understand your options and learn how to navigate the behavioral health system:
- We help you learn about treatment models, local community supports, and state and national resources.
- We connect you with other teens and young adults who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, self-harm, thoughts of suicide, addiction, mood swings, eating disorders, substance abuse, or any form of emotional distress or mental illness.
- We need your input to make this resource meet your needs. Join our Discord or DM us on social media and tell us what you think!

Today, we look back and recognize the things we are grateful/thankful for this year. For me, 2 things I want to highlight are my cat and boxing.

My cat is an old man now, but he's still here and trying to refuse to let his age keep him out of mischief. 😸

I love watching and training boxing. There have been a lot of good fights on TV this year that were very entertaining. Training helps keep me active and I enjoy improving on everything I've learned. 🥊
