At 95, this retired Army Major hadn’t walked in 16 years.

Today, on Veterans Day, we honor those who’ve served — and those who keep fighting to move forward.

Don, a 95-year-old retired Army Major, spent over a decade confined to his chair. But his determination never faded. When given the opportunity to stand in the Second Step Gait Harness System, he rose again — proud, steady, and smiling.

Honoring Veterans: Donald's Journey to Mobility 🇺🇸
This Veterans Day, we’re inspired by Donald, a retired Army Major who, at 92 years old, hadn’t walked independently in 16 years. Determined to reclaim his mobility and independence, he approached his VA doctor with a request to have the Gait Harness System (GHS) to use in his home.
Today, Donald practices safe, supported walking in his living space for the first time in over a decade. His story reminds us of the power of persistence and the life-changing impact that the right mobility support can have.
