PediaVue Baby Eye Screening PEDIAVUE also conducts talks and parental programmes to increase public awareness. The measuring principle is based on eccentric photoretinoscopy.

PEDIAVUE™ INTERNATIONAL provides professional support to doctors or optometrists to provide early preventive PediaVue™ Baby Eye Screening services. Babies should check their eyes at 6 - 10months, 15 -18months and 24 - 30 months, or as recommended by your baby's pediatrician. Early detection and intervention is important especially for a baby whose eyes and visual system are still developing. Hence, your baby can be seen by an optometrist or doctor who provides PediaVue™ Baby Eye Screening. The PediaVue Baby Eye Screening consists of a series of baby-specific vision tests by an optometrist and the use of the Pediatric PlusOptix™ vision screening technology to determine if there are any early signs of abnormalities. PediaVue™ Baby Eye Screening utilises the most up-to-date binocular real-time video photorefractive imaging technology from state-of-the-art German medical device manufacturer PlusOptix™ GmbH. Your baby’s eyes will be tested simultaneously to obtain their refractive data, pupil size, gaze deviation and eye misalignment. The screening does not require the use of eye drops and it is quickly done from a safe testing distance of 1 metre. Other benefits include:

- Simultaneously assesses both eyes

- Quick acquisition time: 0.8 seconds

- Safe testing distance: 1 metre

- Non-invasive procedure

- No eye drops required

- FDA approved technology

- Patient Report: Easy to Interpret

More tests ≠ Better health screening package

If you think a health screening package is better just because it has more tests, think again! An appropriate health screening package should include the tests based on your age, gender, pre-existing condition(s), and date of last health screening.
