This is Jack and his little Rosie pony
Rosie pony coaching was set up to support and help others from our experience of how Rosie pony has helped Jack.
Jack has Burnside butler syndrome, White Sutton syndrome and autism. He is the only one in the world known to have this combination of very rare genetic chromosome disorders. I also have Burnside butler syndrome. We were told Jack would never learn to walk or talk, but he proves everyone wrong every single day !! Equine therapy has been vital to Jack's development, OT, physio, learning and connection to nature , we truly believe the power of equines to help us with so many things.
Over the years we had had to battle and fight for everything when education and support should be a right, but when having rare disorders it can be difficult as sadly not everyone is educated on these things. Our Rosie sessions are free to those who benefit as we believe everyone should be able to access the right things to help them. Any donations go to Jack to go towards looking after his little Rosie. Jack aspirations are to become a farmer and is excited to be going to learn his maths and English and animal care and land based studies. We believe with the right people the right places you can achieve your aspirations and dreams , and of course hard work and effort in the mix, but eventually,no matter how long it takes... You will!!!
I have lots of pony learning resources for wellbeing and life skills and extensive knowledge of SEND ,EHCP, education, training and employment

Very sad news of Billy-Jo Howe one of our wonderful dear followers.
I first meet Billy-Jo via their love for photography and online horse shows with the lovely pony Pumpkin,and our shared love for ponies 🤗❤️🐴
We will greatly miss seeing your adventures with Pumpkin and thank you Billy -Jo for touching everyone's lives with your love for Pumpkin and all ponies. You will be remembered for being the most wonderful ambassador for all of us that have autism and passion for ponies and most of all the kindest truest heart. May you live on with rainbows and ponies in our hearts.

We have one of our favourite visitors to Holiday Youth Cafe tonight, Rosie the Therapy Pony! Come along and learn about how to groom and look after her as part of this evenings session. 4-7pm at Malvern Cube, FREE to attend for young people who are of school Yr6-13 in age.

One very large, fluffy Easter bunny 😁😂 visiting the youthy this evening. We had an amazing time at our favourite pony pampering station!!! Lots of chats and ponio time! Learning all about pony care, horse history,even getting arty with Pony Creative and Equimotional - Trauma-Informed Training & Resource Hub resources! Mini eggs for everyone who found all the 'spot the difference ' Always an absolute pleasure!🤗

We are very excited, as we did a thing!! Rosie's first indoor driving trials event!

To do this, you have to pass a special assessment

Rosie passed her carriage driving assessment!🎉🐴🤗 Well done little Rosie pony!

For your carriage driving assessment you have to show you are safe and competent before you can drive at a sports driving competition. This includes putting on and off the harness correctly, and driving safely, and also putting the carriage on and off safely. Rosie was very calm and relaxed even with the very big horses and carriages!

Indoor driving there are three phases (tests)
1. Precision and passes (similar to a ridden dressage test)and you have to learn which way to go and practice before your test, and remember the shapes that you make as you drive around the arena, this one I really liked as you can learn the test before!
2. Cones ( you have one go at going around a set of cones without knocking the balls off the tops of the cones,and it is tricky as learning which way to go around the course, we had some help as I am not very good at remembering which way to turn and I get muddled up 🙈)
3 Obstacles ( these are big gates that you go around,and can be very confusing! And you have to go through them in the right order ! You have two goes at this and your best time around the gates is the obstacle course , we had lots of lovely help so we didn't get lost! And everyone cheered Rosie on!

We had lots of lovely helpers and friends helping us around and learning all about it! It is great fun to do and is also brilliant if you have any disabilities as a very accessible sport 🤗

It is also really fun to watch too!

There are lots of indoor driving competitions around and the season is over winter time from October though to march, so we have plenty of time now to practice all the things we learned ready for this October!

Rosie had lots of treats and a big cuddle for working really hard! Well done Rosie pony!!! And a special prize for her first time having a go🤗

If anyone ever tells you that you can't do something... don't give up, it may take days, weeks or even years to achieve,but enjoying your own journey with things, keep practicing and never giving up ,you will 'get there' !!! And be super proud when you do! It's not always the fastest to do something that matters, consistency and enjoyment of what it is you are doing it so important and making wonderful friends along the way!

We are very excited to be visiting the Malvern youth group again during the Easter holidays, Rosie's favourite pampering...
