This Women’s History Month, Polaris is conducting an awareness campaign aimed at educating supporters on the role of gender in human trafficking. We hope to educate the public on the different ways gender and trafficking intersect.

I cannot believe out of the hundreds if not thousands of women that applied, I was chosen. I am honored and privileged and grateful for the opportunity to continue to work with Polaris, and be a part of all the amazing campaigns that they do, and continue to educate and raise awareness about human trafficking, but specifically during this month, where we celebrate, amazing, brilliant, talented, and strong women, I am ecstatic to be a part of this. Thank you all of my supporters and to my mentors and a big shout out to Rachel Lloyd who taught me that my story is valuable, and that I shouldn’t be exploited anymore. The cold and flu season is upon us and there have been several confirmed cases of whooping cough and I have had multiple school nurses and teachers order syrup for themselves. They are great to give as gifts and the whole family should be taking a dose every single day!
