If you are sick of knowing what to do but never actually doing it, YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND THIS:

Your nervous system bridges the gap between:
a. knowing what to do and actually doing it
b. thinking differently and actually FEELING differently

Lets be honest: you are not learning about wellbeing, health + productivity for the sake of learning.

You are learning about all these things because you are hoping this information changes how you act + feel. Emotion is the end product of any experience. THAT is what we are all after, NOT information for the sake of knowledge alone.

Problem is that knowledge alone is not enough to create change.

You may have already realized this...

You listen to the podcasts, read the books, attend the motivational speaking events + bookmark the posts but you're either:
〰️ not doing all the things you "know" you should do and instead seeking out more and more information
OR
〰️ doing all the things but it feels like nothing more than another thing to check off your long to-do list

It is NOT that you are lazy or don't know enough.
It is simply that your nervous system is doing its job very well.

Your nervous system's job is not to make you happy, health, successful or fulfilled.

It is to keep you safe.

It does this by avoiding change and recreating more and more of what is familiar to it - even if the familiar is crappy and something you're sick of. Your nervous system would rather stick to what it knows you can survive than have you jump into something new.

It does not matter how much you know, how perfect your affirmation sound or how bad you want something - if your nervous system does not feel safe with it, it will stop you from stepping into real growth and from feeling those emotions.

‼️BAD NEWS: You're getting stuck because your nervous system's need for safety is overpowering your desire for growth.

👊🏻GOOD NEWS: You can step into major growth by cultivating safety in your nervous system.

✨Your nervous system may seem to be your biggest enemy when it comes to growth, but if you learn how to work with it - it will be your greatest ally in: growth, manifestation, healing, achieving and building a fulfilling life✨

Having high standards and big dreams is great unless… 👇

you're using it to sabotage your success.

If you're an over-achiever or perfectionist, that's exactly what you're doing.

How you may ask? By setting unrealistic expectations.

Unrealistic expectations do not help you achieve big goals.

I get the confusion: "If you have BIG goals, shouldn't your expectations be just as big? Huge goals = huge expectations, right?" WRONG.

The bigger and crazier the goal, the more grounded, realistic + achievable the expectations of yourself must be.

Why? Because you are trying to make the impossible possible‼️

The real work of achieving BIG goals is taking something that feels unachievable and breaking it down into steps that actually are. This creates momentum, gives your nervous system a sense of safety + builds up your confidence so that you could channel your energy into excelling at the process and away from obsessing about the outcome.

This process of making the impossible possible by breaking huge goals into bite size pieces that do not overwhelm the nervous system is shockingly powerful yet surprisingly difficult 😳

As overachievers/perfectionists, our drive is often fueled by shame, fear and a nagging sense that we are not good enough.

Shame and fear seem to be decent motivators until you realize that they are unconsciously pushing you into a cycle of failure that is fueled by setting unrealistic expectations.

It's a nasty cycle that we perpetuate without realizing.

LETS BE VERY CLEAR:
I am NOT asking you to make your goals smaller.

I am asking you to ditch the cycle of shame + burnout that is unconsciously limiting you + your goals.

I am asking you to ditch perfectionism so you don't have to make your goals smaller.

THAT is the hard work of stepping into your full potential.

I see you👀

Not what's wrong with you or what needs to be “fixed.”

That’s what you see… the frustration, the sadness, the shame, the overwhelm.

I see what’s beneath that.

I see how brilliant your nervous system is.
I see how resilient you are.
I see how self-aware you have become.
I see how ready you are to create a new reality for yourself.

I see something you might not:
〰️You are not broken〰️

You know there is untapped potential within you.
Potential for more joy, more success, more love, more purpose, more peace.

And you know you're stuck in patterns of thinking, feeling, + behaving that are holding you back.

You might be:

〰️An exhausted overachiever who looks successful but feels anything but
〰️A stuck perfectionist who is holding themselves back
〰️A personal-growth chaser who is not getting results
〰️A reformed hustler who doesn’t believe you can have both wellbeing and success
〰️A self-critical striver who never feels like enough
〰️A frustrated dreamer who can’t motivate themselves

But you're getting something wrong‼️

It's not you that's holding you back.
It's your nervous system.

Not because it is broken.
Because it is working exactly as designed.

Ready to step out to survival + into your full potential?
Learn to make your nervous system an ally instead of an enemy.

Imagine...
✨working towards your goals without a nagging sense of shame, guilt, + fear.
✨feeling grounded + empowered in the midst of stress, uncertainty + disappointment.
✨believing that you could have both, success + wellbeing.

I created the Mind-Body Recalibration Formula to give you the tools to create a new paradigm of success.

I know what it is like to feel like you have to battle with yourself in order to achieve.

I know that it feels like it's the only way even as it is pulling you into a downward spiral of shame.

I know it is easier to keep doing what you’re doing than to pause + ask if there is a better way.

There is.

It is time to end the internal battle.

Shatter the belief that you are broken and uncover the untapped power and potential that lies beneath.

The doors for my 6-month group/hybrid coaching program are open. I would love to have you join us. 🤍

⚡ THE MIND-BODY RECALIBRATION FORMULA IS HERE ⚡

A 6-month coaching program, that is a hybrid of group and 1:1 sessions, designed to help you regulate your nervous system, cultivate peace and fulfillment, and step into your full potential in all areas of life.

I am BEYOND excited to finally share this program with you.

Supporting high-achievers, perfectionists, and dreamers in this setting has been a dream of mine for years because I KNOW what a double-edged sword our ambitions and goals can be:

Sure, BIG goals are motivating and inspiring, but they are also incredibly overwhelming.

This creates an internal battle between the part of you that wants to grow - your soul, spirit, high-self, inner knowing, intuition, etc - and the part of you that wants to stay safe - your nervous system.

This internal battle is not only frustrating, it is confusing.

It leads people to one of two conclusions:
😖 that success means suffering and trading wellbeing, happiness and fulfillment for external achievements
OR
🥺 that success is something that is not accessible, possible or realistic for them

This conclusion leads people to allow one side to keep winning and the other side to keep suffering.

⚡️It is time to end the internal battle⚡️

You know you are meant for more.

✨More success AND more happiness.
✨More achievements AND more fulfillment.
✨More goals AND more peace.

It IS possible.

〰️It just requires a new formula for growth〰️
A new strategy for that will satisfy both parts of you - the parts that want growth and achievment, and the parts that want safety, peace and wellbeing.

We are not talking about another hack or tip.
We are talking about a ✨new paradigm of success✨

The next level of growth that you desire requires a recalibration of your mind, body, and nervous system.

And that's exactly what this program is - a FORMULA that creates long- lasting success, externally and internally, and the opportunity to grow in a community of like-minded high-achievers and dreamers.

IT IS TIME TO STEP OUT OF SURVIVAL MODE AND UNCOVER YOUR FULL POTENTIAL.

"I just need to try harder."

Is that what you've been saying to yourself?

You’re working hard, you’re building skills and expertise, people are noticing and you’re steadily making more and more progress. Based on everything you have been taught, you assume if you just keep doing more - just keep trying harder - you will continue to grow at this rate.

But at some point, you realize something is off…🧐

Life isn’t feeling better. It’s feeling like a treadmill that you can't slow down or get off of. You are giving it everything you have but in reality, you are just running in place.

You know where you want to be and you know something has to change for you to get there. But what?!😖

HERE IS WHAT YOU’RE GETTING WRONG:

The problem is NOT:
〰️ you not doing enough
〰️ a lack of willpower
〰️ bad luck

The problem is that you are living in survival mode‼️

In survival mode:
❗️ it is impossible to feel calm, happy and fulfilled
❗️it will never feel like there is enough of anything
❗️you will always be rushing and panicked
❗️everything will feel like a threat
❗️you can't "see the bright side" or "just be grateful"
❗️opportunities look like threats

You are surviving, not thriving.
And you know it.

"Doing more" has gotten you as far as it possibly could.

The next level of growth that you are craving requires a new strategy.
✨A new formula for success✨

It's time for a Mind-Body Recalibration, and it's loading...

22/03/2023

That feeling you’re desperately searching for in every achievement, the one that's constantly slipping through your fingers, the one you can’t quite put words to when you describe what you desire most…

That’s PEACE.

More specifically inner peace.

As high-achievers we tend to avoid that word.
It feels too woo woo. Too vague. Too hopeful.🤮

Really, it just feels too out of reach😬

We imagine that to feel a sense of peace we would need to give up our goals, dreams and ambitions. Take extreme measure. Go live in a hut on the beach selling coconuts. Become a monk. Settle.

〰️High-achievers tend to believe that peace is not for people like them.
〰️Yet every high-achiever I have ever worked with is desperately searching for exactly that.

They dare not say the word.
But they imply it.
They describe it.
They crave it.

They come to me because deep down they hope that I tell them that is possible.
Even for them. Even if they have big dreams. Even if they struggle with anxiety. Even if they are “logical.”
It is possible for them to feel a sense of inner peace even if their world and life is anything but.

‼️So I am here to tell YOU this:
A sense of peace is possible. Even for you.

HOWEVER it is not something you get by fixing all your problems or giving up all your goals.
It is something you cultivate from within.
Something you work on directly, not something you get as a byproduct of other achievements (or lack there of).

‼️More importantly (for high-achievers):
The inner peace that you cultivate will not rob you of your goals + dreams.
As long as those goals + dreams are coming from a place of worthiness + self-love, this new found inner peace will be the strongest possible foundation for your future success.

It will propel your forward through as you move through the lows and slow you down as you move through the highs⚡️

Now that you know its possible and can accelerate your success:
The question is what are you willing to do to cultivate it?
How much work are you ready and willing to put in?

You ready to do the work? DM me “PEACE” to get started✨🤩🤫

Raise your hand if you feel like the weekend isn't enough rest for the week. 🤚

Tell me if this sounds familiar:

You've been pushing through all week, surviving on those double shot lattes, and you've finally reached the weekend. You're ready to "rest" by running errands, finally cleaning out that closet, staying out late Saturday night, getting a late brunch with friends on Sunday, and then rushing home to binge your favorite show while fighting off the Sunday scaries.

Sounds really restful, right? 🫠

Rest on the weekends is important, and it's definitely the most obvious way we energize ourselves from week to week. But to have sustainable energy, we have to prioritize rest in a consistent and balanced way- week day or weekend.

Even if you did ACTUALLY rest on the weekend by taking care of your
🧘🏻‍♀️BODY: quality sleep, nutrient dense meals, sunlight, movement
🧠MIND: turning off from work, making space to hear your thoughts, etc
✨SOUL: prioritizing connection, creativity and joy
… 2 days is not enough to compensate for the fact that you hit the ground running on Monday morning and do not slow down until Friday night. 😬

Talk about working for the weekend... ⚙

Rest is not a luxury. Rest is how we fuel our bodies and minds in order for them to function optimally so we can achieve our goals.

🙅🏻‍♀️Rest is also not just being a couch potato.

Physical rest is important but there are actually SIX other forms of rest that we need. The kind of rest you need one day may not be what you need another day.

Incorporating intentional rest that is attuned to the needs of your mind, body and nervous system throughout the week days while also making space for things that energize us naturally, frees us to consistently and sustainable perform at the high-levels that success requires.

ASK YOURSELF: How am I prioritizing rest in your week days?

Doing more is not the solution to feeling behind, not good enough, or lazy 🫠More workouts. More work hours. More coffee....

Doing more is not the solution to feeling behind, not good enough, or lazy 🫠

More workouts. More work hours. More coffee. More protein shakes. More scheduling. More organizing. The list goes on and on.🥱

The truth is that doing more to feel better about yourself does not work. (If it did, overachievers would be way happier than they actually are…)

In fact the more you do the worse you feel. Here is why.

You fall into a nasty cycle‼️

1️⃣The more you do and achieve, the more convinced you become that your worth comes from doing + achieving. As the achievements pile higher you don’t become happier, you become more terrified of not being able to maintain this level of achieving. Because you’re convinced that it you’re worthless and everything will crumble. You hope each next achievement will be the one but somehow it just becomes the new baseline that you now need to out perform.

2️⃣Pushing harder means pushing past your needs, boundaries and desires which you are good at doing because you have trained themselves to disconnect from these internal cues. This puts you on the fast track to burnout. The physical, mental and emotional pain of which only adds to how less than you already feel. This reconfirms your worst fear: that you are not good enough as you are.

3️⃣Instead of healing the internal pain that is driving this false narrative that you are not enough and disconnect your worth from your achievements, the moment you feel a tiny bit better physically you go right back to doing + achieving more - restarting the cycle.

🔁This cycle of doing more not only pushes you to burnout and sickness, but it moves you further and further away from your true self- your gifts, your power, your magic, your truth, and your worth.

You are searching for your worth and for feeling good in achievements and busyness but that is a dead end‼️

It's time to stop looking EXTERNALLY and start looking INTERNALLY.

If you're wanting more guidance on how to do this, let's connect! Use the link in my bio to apply for an introductory coaching session!

08/01/2023

Obsessed with setting goals, building new habits + becoming your best self? As much as I love that for you, that may not actually be a good thing😬

What is driving your desire for change?
〰️fear + low self worth
OR
〰️love + high self worth
This matters.

Most people are not changing all their behaviors because they suddenly love themselves + their lives. They are doing it because they feel like they have to clean up the mess from last month/year and “catch up.”

What is driving their new “healthy” behaviors is guilt, shame + fear. Which are VERY motivating… short term. That's why after a month (or week) you start losing your excitement and passion for change and by April you decide its really not that important.

‼️The problem with this form of motivation is that you need to keep shaming yourself to stay on track since the moment you feel better about yourself you lose said “motivation.”

😖So you either shame yourself all year round to stay committed while continuously feeling like a failure OR you quit the moment you feel slightly better only to find yourself feeling awful again a month later.

Do you see why you have not been able to both, stay motivated AND feel good, in the past?
Do you see what REALLY needs to change if you want to create sustainable growth + success in the future?

⚡️You need to change how you motivate yourself⚡️
STOP trying to create change from a place of fear + shame.
START learning to motivate yourself in a sustainable + loving way.

❕Right now, most people need to be working on dealing with their shame + fear, not on changing everything❕

Processing those emotions is the key to sustained motivation and commitment✨

⚠️Do not jump on the goal setting train out of shame, fear or panic. That will only reinforce the the LIE that you are not enough + “have to” change

Remember:
Change and growth is not something you “should” do.
It is something you deserve to do because you are powerful beyond belief.

Work on realizing that you are worthy of your goals + dreams exactly as you are. The more deserving you feel, the more motivated you will feel over time. (The more you feel like 💩, the less motivated you will feel over time).

If you are working towards success that is sustainable, holistic and fulfilling (aka success that makes all areas of you...
28/12/2022

If you are working towards success that is sustainable, holistic and fulfilling (aka success that makes all areas of your life better) - the first set of metrics of growth will do nothing but keep you stuck in the very habits, behaviors and thought patterns that made you unwell in the first place.

👉🏻 Constantly evaluating yourself based on how well you can numb pain, how much output you produce, how impressive you can appear to others and how "perfect" everything about you can be is not only a trauma response but it is also why you are feeling worse despite achieving more.

❗️The truth is you can change all your habits and behaviors, but if you are not changing your metrics - you will stay stuck❗️

Achieving will not make you feel better. It will actually make you feel more broken than when you started. Why? Because you will not be able to see the growth that you are achieving.

⚡️So here is different way to measure your growth⚡️

A way that shifts the focus from how others see you to how YOU see yourself.
A way that takes into account how growth and progress actually works.
A way that allows you to stop wasting energy battling against yourself.

Instead of constantly measuring how far you are from some unachievable and ever changing level of "perfection," try measuring the things on the final slide.

▫️How much intentional action you took towards your goal.

▫️How much you learned from your mistakes.

▫️How you prioritized rest.

▫️How much self-compassion you showed yourself in a tough moment.

Notice the difference❗️

〰️Instead of focusing on WHAT you do, you are focusing on HOW you do it.

〰️Instead of prioritizing how you appear to others, you are prioritizing how you show up for yourself.

Measuring these things consistently will not only give you much more valuable data to analyze and work with, but it will also motivate you in a sustainable way.

This is sustainable for one simple but foundational reason: it is rooted in awareness, compassion and high self-worth instead of fear, comparison and low self-worth⚡️

Which of these metrics can you start using to reflect on 2022 and hold yourself accountable in 2023? Tell me!👇🏼✨

09/12/2022

I am ALL for learning tools, techniques and tips for regulating your nervous system.

I myself am constantly using, teaching and exploring new tools to help myself and my clients regulate our nervous systems through the stressors of day to day life - stressors that seem to be continuously intensifying as our dreams get bigger and life becomes more complicated…

HOWEVER - regulation tools and tips can only do so much… 🫠

These tools are meant to help your nervous system realize that there is no tiger chasing you and that you are safe. They are meant to help your nervous system have a more appropriate and proportional reaction to stressors.

But if you’re staying in unhealthy relationships and dynamics while not taking care of your body and pretending that you are robot without needs - well I’m sorry but your nervous system a getting dysregulated is appropriate.

It’s a warning. Your nervous system is alerting you to very real problems.

‼️ To continuously try to trick your body into being calm despite these real dangers is not only counterproductive, it’s dangerous.

‼️Too many of us come into the wellness and healing space looking for a quick fix. A way to numb or avoid. A way to not have to make the hard choices that on some level we know we need to make.

👉🏻 We are unconsciously trying to use all these amazing and life-changing tools to drown out the pain of issues that we don’t want to have to take action on.

Using healthy habits and behaviors to avoid treating yourself and your body with love, respect and consideration is unhealthy. And it will keep you perpetually stuck in survival.

If you are struggling with anxiety, overwhelm or constantly living in a survival state, are you avoiding looking at your:
⁃ Relationship with alcohol
⁃ Unhealthy relationships
⁃ Toxic work dynamics
⁃ Lack of sleep + nourishment
⁃ Beliefs around “hustle” and success

I’m not saying don’t use or learn the tools (PLEASE DO), I am saying that there will be no lasting progress and growth without you taking action on addressing the above issues.

Which of the above would you benefit from exploring to create more safety in your life + nervous system?👇🏼
