I focus on nourishing and unprocessed ingredients that are simple to prepare, easy to cook and result in delicous meals. Nature presents us with so many incredible possibilities and I am astonished and grateful for these wonderfully natural and amazing foods every day. As we move towards winter, we all seem to want to curl up under a blanket and be served a steaming hot soup, one that hugs you from the inside and warms your toes and fingers from cold november walks outside. Am I right? So it's soup season. And that's something I truly love. Soups, stews, bring them on! I admit that sometimes just smoothies made of fruit don't really keep me full for long if I have them as my breakfast. I really do need some serious fuel in the mornings, like oatmeal or buckwheat pancakes. But sometimes, I feel like something velvety smooth and creamy, so my breakfast smoothies have to be delicious, easy to throw together, ultimately creamy and have some complex carbohydrates to keep me happy and energized for my mornings.
