My journey as an energy healer started because I wanted to know why I felt what I felt while doing hair. I would feel my clients pain, intuit information and let them drain me dry.
It just about cost me my career.
I didn't know how to navigate my energy system, or work so closely to someone else's energy and I. WAS. SPENT.
I went in search of a class to learn energy therapy and I found the Healing Touch Program. My first class I remember thinking, how this was going to help me so much behind the chair. Then my next thought was, how do I incorporate energy therapy into my salon work?
And here I am today, fluidly blending the 2 things. It is THE BEST. I am totally re-engaged in my career and see the full healing potential a beauty service can provide.

Good to remember when getting dressed in the morning. Cultural beauty constructs can f**k up a perfectly good day. Don’t believe the hype.
March to your own drummer. Help your clients embrace their individuality too.
Only YOU know what is in your soul that wants to be expressed on the outside through beauty ~ clothing, hair, makeup, etc.

Your calling is calling ☎️
I heard mine ringing for yeeeeeeears before I was ready to pickup. How could I possibly say yes to this seemingly impossible career path that didn't even exist yet?
The fire🔥was hotter in front of me than it was behind me... until it wasn't.
Jumping out into the unknown 2 years ago was terrifying and exhilarating ALL at the same time. I wanted the person I was becoming (seeker, self-care advocate, spiritual being, organic + holistic enthusiast) to be in alignment with the work I was doing in the world (hairstylist + educator). I spent those years cultivating clarity, courage and community so that when I took the leap, I wouldn't be doing it alone.
This kind of fierce alignment between self + the expression of self through work IS your calling. The world needs your unique contribution. The universe (God, the Divine, whatever you want to call "It") will do what it can to keep leading you back to this place, which MOST times illicits pain. The pain serves the purpose of change. The pain is the fire🔥getting hotter behind you than is in front of you.
