💉 **Hands-On Learning in Action!** 💉🚑

Our paramedic students took their training to the next level this week with heart dissections 🫀. This hands-on experience allows them to explore the anatomy of the heart up close—gaining a deeper understanding of how it works, how to recognize cardiac issues, and how to provide life-saving care in real emergencies.

We’re proud of their dedication and hard work as they build the skills needed to save lives every day! 👏💙

🚑 Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Horry County Fire/Rescue to our campus for a Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) training session, led by Dr. Dorsch, EMS Medical Director at Robeson Community College.

This hands-on class was designed to help launch their POCUS program and give their team the skills and knowledge needed to put it into action in the field.

We're honored to play a role in getting this important initiative off the ground and appreciate the opportunity to support such a dedicated group of professionals.

🚨 INTENSE TRAINING IN ACTION! 🚨
Our paramedic students stepped up to the challenge today, participating in a bombing scenario designed to test their skills under pressure. With chaotic background noise, simulated injuries, and high-stakes decision-making, students had to:
✅ Ensure scene safety
✅ Triage multiple patients quickly
✅ Coordinate as a team to stabilize and conquer the chaos
This hands-on scenario pushed them beyond the classroom and into the kind of unpredictable environments they'll face in the field. We’re incredibly proud of their focus, determination, and growth through this high-intensity training! 💪🚑
