This cool rain soaked weather reminds me that cold and flu season are coming up next. I have been reading and hearing a lot about the benefits of elderberry syrup for immune and respiratory support during cold and flu season and I found this homemade recipe that I love. I found this incredible hot stone abdominal press that is just perfect to use before a postpartum belly bind or just on its own. A palm size river stone is heated, placed on a bed of spices, tied in a cloth bundle and placed gently but firmly on the abdomen. Promotes faster shrinking of the womb after birth, flattens the tummy, expels trapped air, helps with digestion and constipation and speeds up the healing process. Smells amazing and so relaxing.
