It’s that time of the year for our White Christmas forecast! 🎄☃️

The official definition for a White Christmas is that there has to be at least 2cm of snow on the ground on Christmas morning. Thanks to multiple back-to-back Clippers over the past couple of weeks, most of the Prairies have easily hit that threshold. However, there are some areas where a White Christmas could be in question.

Most of Southern Alberta and into Central Alberta have less than 5cm of snow on the ground as of Sunday evening. This base is expected to be added to on Christmas Eve as a system moves through the region, which increases the odds of a White Christmas. This snowfall may bypass areas closer to the US border, making it more of a 50/50 chance for a White Christmas places like Lethbridge and Medicine Hat.

Regardless of whether it's a White or Green Christmas, we hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday season!

There is fence is down right at the creek by the careers. Four horses are getting out. We chased them into the field but we're going to need someone to fix it before they keep getting out. Whoever owns these horses come see us and make sure they do not go onto the highway.

Good afternoon family and friends due to high call volume of tows and pulls, we need public works assistance to plow driveways. All driveways are blocked.
