Yesterday, Emily hosted the monthly One Ellesmere Port Primary Care Network Community Partnerships meeting at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, bringing together organisations from across Ellesmere Port who are all working to support the community in different ways.

The Ellesmere Port Community Partnership exists to make sure local organisations are working together where possible, and spotting where services don’t quite meet the needs of local people. It’s a chance to share updates, identify gaps, and make clear, practical plans for how we can connect our work and improve what’s available across the area.

A big thanks to to Kenny and Phil at Cheshire Oaks for hosting this month’s meeting and supporting the ongoing work happening across Ellesmere Port!

💡 Exciting News!

Healthbox CIC, in partnership with the University of Chester and Coax Creative , has been awarded funding from Innovate UK to develop Cam2Cook, an AI-powered, inclusive recipe app designed to improve health and nutrition across communities.

Over the next two years, we’ll be working together to create technology that makes healthy eating more accessible, affordable, and inclusive for everyone, regardless of age, ability, or background.

This project forms part of UK Research and Innovation’s £2.5 million investment to scale innovation in community-led approaches that support the NHS’s shift from treatment to prevention, reduce health inequalities, and drive economic growth.

We’re proud to be part of a national movement helping people eat well, move more, and live healthier lives, while championing innovation that truly makes a difference at community level.

This November is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month.💙

According to Samaritans, men are 3x more likely to die by su***de than women, a heartbreaking reminder of how many are struggling in silence without reaching out for support.
