Thank you B ❤️

Some of you may already know this if you have been to an event recently and listened to my raw shares, but if not, I wanted to share something personal with you because I think life is full of ups and downs and we should honour them all!

The past few weeks have been quite challenging for me after losing a dear friend to su***de. Grief is a heavy weight to carry, and it has reminded me how important it is to slow down and give ourselves the time and space to simply be with what we are feeling.

As many of you know, I have my own practices that support my calm and wellbeing — yoga, Reiki, and the daily rituals that help keep me grounded. But right now, I feel like I need a little extra support and stillness.

Because of this, I’m really grateful that Peace Heal Love Wellbeing Centre is hosting a beautiful Day of Silence next week led by Aishling. This is entirely Aishling’s event — I’m not facilitating or leading anything on the day — but we are truly proud to host her at the centre. Aishling is very much part of our Tribe, and we fully support the beautiful work she brings into the world.

I’ll simply be there as a participant, joining in the silence and allowing myself the space to rest, reset, and gently calm my nervous system.

The gardens at the centre are bursting with new life, and the comfy chairs await you under the trees, listening to the birdsong — the perfect setting to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

This time next week, you too could be feeling less stressed.
Your nervous system could be calm and reset.
You might even experience the best sleep you’ve had in a long time.

Stepping into silence offers something most of us rarely experience in everyday life.

Being in silence:

• Creates space for mental clarity and reflection
• Encourages deeper relaxation than most people experience in daily life
• Supports emotional balance and a sense of inner calm
• Provides quiet time in nature, which naturally helps regulate the nervous system

Even a few hours of silence can have a powerful effect, helping people feel more grounded, rested, and clear-minded.

The day begins with a guided relaxation and group field coherence immersion, gently supporting nervous system regulation and easing participants into silence. This allows everyone to enter the remainder of the day feeling grounded, settled, and supported.

From there, the retreat unfolds in shared silence and includes:

• A mindful, nourishing vegan lunch provided by The Blonde Beet (who also cater our Wild Woman retreat — their food is always incredible)
• A meditative walk in nature
• Optional journalling and quiet reflection

This retreat offers a calm, structured space for those seeking stillness, nervous system regulation, and time away from the noise and constant stimulation of daily life.

Sometimes we just need to step away from everything for a while. To be quiet. To breathe. To allow the nervous system to soften and the mind to rest.

Time: 9:30am – 4:00pm
Investment: £90 (includes lunch)

If you feel the call for a little stillness and calm right now, you would be very welcome to join us.

This is a dedication to me and all the mothers who have struggled through the screaming, tantrums, big emotions, endless cooking, listening, chauffeuring and putting ourselves last.

Motherhood is hard and beautiful all at the same time.

So today isn’t a gushing post, it’s a reminder.

Try not to lose yourself along the way.
Resting is not selfish.
Looking after yourself isn’t selfish. Loving yourself isn’t selfish.

You are no good to anyone if you become a shell of yourself.

If your child didn’t love themselves it would break your heart, so why should it be any different for you?

And here’s the truth, nobody is going to make you rest or look after you.

You have to mother yourself too.

It will change your life and the lives of the people around you.

If you don’t know where to begin, send me a DM and I’ll point you in the right direction.

(Breakfast made by me today and yes those are chocolate chips. Don’t judge 🤪)

🌱If you’re feeling overwhelmed, burnt out or constantly overstimulated, this may be exactly the space you need.

☀️On March 21st I’m hosting a small Silent Day Retreat in the peaceful countryside at Peace Heal Love Wellbeing Centre in Langtoft.

🌸It’s a gentle day away from noise, phones and constant input. A chance to slow down and give your mind and nervous system the rest it rarely gets.

The day includes:

• a guided relaxation to settle in
• several hours of peaceful silence
• time for nature walks, journaling or simply resting
• a nourishing vegan lunch from Blonde Beet Café
• a deeply calming guided relaxation in the afternoon

🌱You don’t need any meditation experience.
Just a willingness to step away from stimulation for a few hours and allow yourself to rest.

A few people have asked what actually happens during a silent day retreat, so I thought I’d explain a little.

We begin the morning simply by arriving, having a cup of tea and chatting for a while so everyone can settle in and feel comfortable. I’m quite a chatty, normal human myself, so there will definitely be a bit of laughter before we begin.

Then I guide a relaxation to help everyone slow down and let the nervous system settle. From there we gently move into silence for the rest of the day.

Silence doesn’t mean sitting perfectly still or meditating all day. You can rest, walk in the gardens, journal, read, or simply sit and enjoy the quiet. There will be a nourishing lunch and an optional meditative walk in the afternoon.

And if anything comes up for you during the day, you’re not alone in that space. As a CBT hypnotherapist I’m used to supporting people if they need to talk something through.

It’s really just a simple day to step away from the constant noise of life and give your mind and body some proper space to reset.

We all say it at some point…

“For God’s sake would you give me some peace and quiet.”

But when was the last time you actually gave that to yourself?

Our lives are full of constant stimulation, phones, conversations, notifications, responsibilities. Even when we try to relax, we’re usually still taking something in.

That’s why I’m holding a Silent Day Retreat on Saturday 21st March in Langtoft.

A gentle day of quiet, rest and space for your nervous system to slow down.

There’s no pressure to meditate perfectly. You can rest, journal, walk in the gardens or simply sit and enjoy the stillness.

If the idea of stepping away from the noise for a day speaks to you, you’re very welcome.

✨ Details and booking link are in my bio.

When silence becomes essential, not optional.

On 21st March 2026, I am hosting a Silent Day Retreat; an immersive day designed to allow the nervous system to settle so stillness can arise naturally.

We begin together with a guided relaxation, followed by a group field coherence immersion, establishing a shared, regulated presence and gently initiating the silence. From there, we move into prolonged shared silence for the remainder of the day.

The afternoon includes a mindful, nourishing vegan lunch by The Blonde Beet, time in nature with a meditative walk, and optional journalling, all held within a beautiful space surrounded by nature.

When you remove the outside noise and constant stream of information, your own inner wisdom can begin to rise to the surface.

This isn’t a retreat from life, but a return to what’s always been here.

Values and resilience are not separate concepts, they are the same muscle expressed in different ways.

Most people think resilience is purely about “coping better” or “handling pressure”, but that’s only the surface layer.

Real resilience comes from your ability to stay aligned with your values under stress.

Because when pressure hits:
   •   Your habits wobble
   •   Your emotions flare
   •   Your certainty shrinks
   •   Your brain tries to conserve energy
   •   And your boundaries become negotiable

What doesn’t wobble,if you’ve anchored it properly, is your values.

Your values act like an internal stabiliser.
They give you direction when everything else is in motion.

And when you consistently choose your values, even when it’s uncomfortable or inconvenient, something shifts:

You build psychological resilience.

Why?

Because:
   •   You’re no longer making decisions based on fear or urgency
   •   You’re not shape, shifting to please people or avoid conflict
   •   You’re operating from a place of clarity, not reactivity
   •   You’re strengthening your self-trust every time you choose alignment

Your values are behavioural anchors.

And when you honour them under pressure, you’re doing more than “sticking to what matters”
you’re reinforcing who you are.

Resilience isn’t just the ability to keep going.
It’s the ability to stay yourself while you do.

And that’s a wrap on season 1 💫

What an adventure and journey. So many beautiful connections made and I’m so grateful to everyone that came on to talk about what they are passionate about.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the episodes and look forward to more in the Spring ✨

I am one to take my own advice and know when to slow down and take a break and that time is now. 🌿
