The word for today is balance. It seems as if a spiritual practice for each and every person, is in order in today's world. It does not matter what faith you are. It is wise to put into a routine that can make stable our emotions, frustrations and anxieties as we navigate our world. Whether it be meditation, a daily commune with nature or a recitation of a favorite poem, it is important for us to know who we are in our deeper sense and once again regain our centeredness to walk with love and compassion.

Hello Everyone..I am thinking about the world we live in. Sometimes we feel down and out, sometimes angry or frustrated. I think it is all around us. My only remedy for keeping my spiritual sanity is by observing the beauty that is all around me, especially in nature.
I live near the Green Mts. of Vermont and each day I walk twice and acknowledge the beauty of those mountains having been there thousands or even millions of years. I like to grow a garden in the spring and watch it grow.
I fear we have become so push-button that we lose sight of these things.
In the middle of winter, maybe treat yourself to a walk in the snow or to a park. Enjoy life! Lately a friend of mine told me about eagle-cam site on Youtube where you can see a mother eagle sitting on her eggs! Now that is a treat!

Elwood Babbitt

Elwood Babbitt was born on November 26, 1921 in Orange, Massachusetts to parents Roy and Alma Babbitt. He was claimed to have exhibited psychic ability even in early childhood. His family encouraged his activities, including taking him to the spiritualist community of Lake Pleasant, Massachusetts where Elwood would assist in the readings.[1]

Babbitt had two primary spirit guides, Dr. Fischer and Jim Cole, who helped him. Jim Cole was the "Engineer" who helped to adjust the supposed vibrational frequencies between spirit and Elwood's body. Elwood claimed that he and Dr. Fischer took turns helping each other across lives, e.g. in other lives he was in spirit assisting Dr. Fischer with his mediumship in an earth body.[1]
