Helping families and friends cope with their addict before, during and after recovery. This support is crucial to your recovery as well as the addicts.

PURPOSE
Family & Friends of Addicts Mission is to educate families, mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, sisters, brothers, grandparents and friends who have a person in their lives who are struggling with an addiction. We want to encourage and walk along side others who have the same struggles in their daily lives. Addiction is a disease; it is just as damaging to the family as it is the addict themselves. Family & Friends of Addicts offers hope to families through our support services. Without proper support they cannot effectively help their loved one. Understanding the devastating effect drug or alcohol addiction can empower families to cope with their loved one and start them on your way to RECLAIM their relationship with their family again. OBJECTIVE
Friends and Family of Addicts goals are to offer a full 12 week curriculum modeling that of Celebrate Recovery. By using the same Eight Principles based Beatitudes and Twelve Step Principles that makes Celebrate Recovery so successful. The main objective is to teach the family about the damaging effects of addiction through education provided by outside organizations, personal testimonies that offer hope from those who overcame a loved one’s addiction, educational material and referral services that can provide additional healing. Friends & Families of Addicts places emphasis on rebuilding family members from the inside out through the love of Christ. We focus on specific areas that become damaged over time. We want to provide family members a safe place to meet with others and learn that all things are possible through Christ. Matthew 11:28

Definitely worth read. This is a work book that goes along with the book. I couldn't find the book for the link. But get the book and add the workbook if you want

The two biggest things we’re hearing in people who had successful recoveries is their family never gave up on them . . . and there was intervention in the workplace.

It even destroys the ones watching from the sidelines but God didn't throw them or us into the desert because he wants to leave them or us there. Allow him to restore our hearts and minds. He wants us all to have victory over defeat. We can't live in the would of should of moments. We must live for today one day at a time. Find Joy in the moment, be thankful for what we have, not what we lost, and be forgiving of them and ourselves every moment. Love all in our community ❤️
