Depression is more common than many realize, and it often hides behind a smile. Even the smallest check-in can remind someone they are valued and not alone.

This , take a moment to send a supportive message to a friend or loved one who may be struggling. A few kind words can bring comfort on a hard day, and might mean more than you’ll ever know.

Remember: You don’t need the perfect words. What matters most is letting them know you care.

The is also here to provide support

Did you know:

*** Adult loss survivors are nearly 10 times more likely to consider su***de themselves in the initial months following loss than the general public.

*** Research shows that individuals bereaved by su***de are 80% more likely to drop out of school or quit their jobs—and 64% more likely to attempt su***de—than individuals grieving sudden losses by natural causes.

IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY.

Postvention is prevention.
