šŸ„• Macro Friendly Carrot Cake Bars w/ Protein Cream Cheese Icing (gf)šŸ„•
Sometimes you want to indulge in all the sugary decadence of a bomb ass dessert... but more often than not we want something sweet & yummy that isn’t ā€œall that bad for youā€. Remaking classic sweets in ways that ā€œaren’t all that bad for youā€ is always so fun for me. I love testing lower sugar, oil free, or higher protein options that are more easily worked into my meal planning that don’t even need to be considered ā€œtreatsā€ or ā€œcheatsā€. ā€œCheat mealsā€ aren’t in my vocabulary. We are adults... what exactly are we supposed to be cheating on? Everything is a choice and I’ll happily choose this crazy good carrot cake remake any day of the week. The primary swaps are monkfruit for white sugar, egg whites for eggs, applesauce for some oil and protein powder for some of the flour. In the frosting I’ve completely avoided powdered sugar and swapped in protein powder instead, and I swear you’d never know the difference.

* baking soda
* apple cider vin

* plant milk
* grated carrot
* gluten-free flour
* chopped raw walnuts
Icing is:

šŸ© Baked Double Chocolate Donuts (oil free, gluten free, vegan) šŸ©
SNACK ATTACK! This donut was so light yet perfectly chocolatey with just enough sweet. This is the perfect snack for when you want to feed that PMS monster šŸ‘¹ but want to avoid the junk šŸ™…šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø
Makes 12
135 cals
3.6g fat
24g carbs
1.4g protein
Dry ingredients:
3/4 c oat flour
3/4 c almond flour
1/4 c potato starch
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/3 c + 1 tbsp Dutch cocoa powder
3/4 c vegan dark chocolate chips (I used )

Wet Ingredients:
1 smashed banana (90g)
1/2 c maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1/4 c plant milk (I used pea milk)
Combine wet & dry ingredients & stir in chocolate chips. Pipe into greased/sprayed donut molds. Bake at 350 degrees for 15mins. Eat as is or add your favorite glaze!

šŸ© Cinnamon Sugar Pumpkin Donuts (v/gf) šŸ©
These are a ā€œnot too sweetā€, light, moist, ā€œcakeā€ style donut perfect for kiddos begging for the sweet stuff. We tried a couple of different glazes but the simple Cinnamon Sugar topping won the show.
This batter can easily handle some variation as well. Plop into muffin tins or a loaf pan with a light cream cheese frosting to mix it up!
So good. So easy. Give them a try!
Ingredients:
3/4 cup almond flour
3/4 cup oat flour
1/4 cup potato starch
2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp sea salt
7.5oz pumpkin purƩe (1/2 a can)
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1/4 cup + 2tbsp almond milk
2 tbsp earth balance vegan butter
Cinnamon/sugar blend
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix wet & dry ingredients in separate bowls. Combine. The batter will be relatively thick.
Spray donut molds or muffin tins with non stick spray & fill. These will not rise much so make sure to smooth out the top for a prettier baked outcome. Bake for 15mins or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool for at least 15mins. It’s ok if they are still warm. Melt the vegan butter. Dip the tops in the vegan butter & then in the cinnamon sugar.
Best if eaten the same day or store in air right container.

šŸŖ Soft Baked Dark Chocolate Almond Butter Oat Cookies (v/gf) šŸŖ
I’ve been testing basic chocolate chip cookies forever but nothing ever stuck as a perfectly consistent Go-To recipe. UNTIL THESE FU***NG GLORIOUS ASS COOKIES. Gluten Free, Vegan & sweetened with maple syrup, these chicks are stay soft & taste so perfectly traditional ... plus they are so easy & require just one bowl.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup almond butter
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup oat flour
3 tablespoons potato starch
1 tablespoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 cup GF rolled oats
Dark chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375. Combine wet ingredients. In the same bowl (or separately) sift in dry ingredients except oats & chocolate chips. Once combined stir in oats & chocolate chips.
Roll into about 20 balls & place on a lined cookie sheet (I’ve been loving my silicone liners from ). Bake for 10mins & let cool for 10-15mins before serving.
Per cookie based on 20 cookie batch:

Fat 10g
Carbs 16.5g
Protein 2.6g

🄜 Calling all PEANUT BUTTER LOVERS 🄜
5 ingredient Vegan Peanut Butter Fudge!
Skip the milk, butter & sugar of traditional fudge ... yuck. This treat is super decadent, naturally sweetened and EASY!!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup coconut butter (not coconut oil! Coconut butter is blended coconut meat)
1/2 cup salted peanut butter (Adams is the best!)
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon sea salt ( adjust based on saltiness of peanut butter)
In a pot slowly combine all ingredients over low heat. Transfer for a shallow dish & chill!
This is the same recipe I use for my dark chocolate peanut butter cups! Another easy option is to pour melted dark chocolate on top of fudge & freeze for a chocolate treat.

I’ve always been a non loyal product ju**ie. Cheap, Expensive, full of chemicals, clean... I’d try it all and commit to none. Until my good friend eased me to the idea of ā€œinvestingā€ in my skin.
I’m totally in love with the Sorella line and am lucky to have access to their lead educator ( )to help me navigate the overwhelming amount of skin care information out there! Clearly I have not retired my ā€œProduct Junkieā€ title but it feels great to cut out the crap and invest in quality professional grade products that actually treat and protect my face for the long haul. Plus how GORGEOUS is this packaging??

These 10 minute sandwich cookies were born from 5 ingredients and a load of q***r PMS ā¤ļø
Ingredients:
Dark Chocolate chips
Coconut oil
Ritz crackers
Nut or Seed butter - is incredible & peanut free
Sea salt or salted nuts (optional)

Sometimes self care is putting on your biggest lashes & lounging in faux fur šŸ’‹.
No really though, there are a lot of monologues out there about how to handle this crazy quarantine. Honestly, cut yourself/ your partner/ your kids some slack and just do whatever the f**k feels good that day. For me, some days are full of busyness, some are totally lounge-tactic, some are filled with digital friends & some I need to be alone. I’m working hard to curb all the micro judgements and just move intuitively throughout each day/week. Honestly, I’m kinda failing miserably and am constantly judging all the things šŸ™„ ...pushing us to ā€œbe more productiveā€ or searching for some activity that will make me feel like I’m not wasting away the day, when really we’re doing just fine in these uncharted waters.
BUT the one thing that I can always count on to make me feel like a damn KWEEN are huge, gaudy, fake eyelashes. They are my forever tried and true mood booster and you better believe I’m stocking up for the long haul šŸ¤ŖšŸ˜šŸ˜˜
