The FOCUS Academy We help chiropractors simplify stress neurology and neurobehavioral challenges across all ages.

As founders of the hierarchical brain development model, we offer practical tools, clinical certainty, and a fresh lens—always rooted in chiropractic care. Brain-based education for chiropractors who want to think differently, serve with clarity, and support development, behavior, learning, and nervous system function from the inside out.

If you’ve been treating behavior like the problem to extinguish, pediatrics will keep feeling like a moving target. Because behavior is rarely “random.” It’s the nervous system telling you what state it’s living in, what it can tolerate, and where it runs out of bandwidth.

If you want the full framework for assessing, communicating, and supporting families join our certification series. We have a FEW spots left! DM us FOCUS to grab one.

You’re not treating ADHD. You’re supporting a developing nervous system that has been given that label.

That distinction changes everything.
🧠 How is this child processing movement and gravity?
🧠 Which reflexes are still active?
🧠 What’s happening with tracking and eye movements?
🧠 How predictable does life feel to their nervous system?

Now the diagnosis becomes a starting point, not a conclusion.

We teach you how to navigate ALL of this in the FOCUS Academy certification series. Want to grab one of our few spots left?! DM us FOCUS

Instead of asking “What diagnosis is this?” the better question is, “Where is this child in the hierarchy of development?” That’s when you stop feeling stuck and start feeling structured again.

Need help with how to do this effectively? We have just a FEW seats left for our March certification series. Comment FOCUS to learn more 👇🏼

Chiros… we already know this, but apparently we need to say it louder for the people in the back 😅

Chiropractic IS for kids.

Not because kids are “mini adults with back pain,” but because the nervous system is building in real time and function matters before symptoms get loud.

If you’re a doc who’s tired of hearing “Why would a child need chiropractic?” here’s your permission slip to be direct:

Because kids have nervous systems.
Because neurodevelopment doesn’t pause.
Because function today becomes capacity tomorrow.

Save this for the next time someone hits you with the “but they’re too little” take.

We have never had more tools, trainings, and “options” in pediatric care.

And yet I’m hearing the same thing from docs everywhere:
You feel maxed out. Your team feels maxed out. The kids are coming in with bigger regulation needs, more sensory load, and more complex learning and developmental presentations than ever.

That’s not because you’re doing it wrong.
It’s because the environment (and the demands) shifted, and our systems have not caught up.

If you are an incredible clinician but you’re tired of feeling like you’re constantly reacting, this is your reminder:
Your clinical skill is not the missing piece.

Do you feel this? Then you’re in the right place! DM me to chat about The FOCUS Academy 🙌🏼

A brain-based exam opens windows most doctors were never taught how to interpret.

🧠 readiness
🧠 gaps
🧠 sensory processing
🧠 early deflection
🧠 functional capacity

And the best part is: this isn’t about doing more. It’s about knowing more. When you understand development, everything clicks — your communication gets clearer, your plans feel more individualized, and parents finally start noticing wins they used to miss.

If you’ve ever wanted to feel more confident explaining the “why” behind your care, this is the lane.

We have just a few spots open for our 2026 certification series! Want to claim one?! Send us a DM!

Behavior charts strengthen skills that require prediction, regulation, and executive function.

But those systems depend on a brain that already feels organized and safe.

🧠 If the brainstem is in protection mode, charts only address output.
🧠 They don’t build capacity.
🧠 They usually just exhaust the parent faster.

Kids don’t need more stickers. They need nervous system support that matches their actual readiness.

If you could teach every parent one thing about behavior, what would it be?

Drop a 🧠 if you’ve ever had a case that reminded you why you chose peds in the first place.

One thing I see all the time is chiropractors wanting to help kids with behavior, learning, or socialization challenges, but 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬.

Reflex work, eye movement work, sensory activities, cognitive drills, nutrition, motor development, and everything else that comes across their feed.

It is easy to accidentally become mechanistic or overwhelmed.

𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧. Lead with the nervous system. Hold chiropractic as the foundation. Then layer in the other tools with intention instead of chasing symptoms.

This is where you stand out. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞. And this is what prepares you for the deeper work we will be doing in the certification series that opens soon.

We’ve got to retire the labels.

“Defiant.” “Lazy.” “Unmotivated.”
Most of the time, those words are just what adults reach for when a child’s nervous system is doing something we don’t yet understand.

Here’s the reframe I want you to try this week in practice:

Instead of “He won’t sit still,” ask: *What is his body trying to stabilize?*
Instead of “She avoids reading,” ask: *Is her visual system working overtime?*
Instead of “They melt down over transitions,” ask: *Are they stuck in surprise mode because their brain can’t predict what’s coming next?*

When we translate behavior into physiology, parents stop feeling like they’re failing and kids stop feeling like they’re “bad.”

They start feeling *seen*. And that shift changes everything: buy-in, follow-through, retention, outcomes.

If you’re a doc, what’s one “behavior” you hear all the time that you wish parents understood differently?
