Sleep Deep Doctor I am a mother and a family doctor. Through my work, I have become aware of many people experiencing increasing stress.

Through my work, I have become aware of many people experiencing increasing stress, and daily I see the effects of this increasing stress on health. It is now my passion to work towards opposing this trend at every level and opportunity. As a doctor, I am only able to see one patient at a time, and with time constraints there is usually no opportunity left in the consultation to discuss health in broader terms. The effects of stress dramatically impact our wellbeing and there are enormous benefits to reducing stress; my books are addressing this very issue. Leanne Lawrence

Scientists are beginning to clarify the mind-body links. We are lucky enough to live in a time when long observed effects can actually be measured and understood. Relaxed, guided meditation produces advantageous chemistry within our bodies aiding the immune system, healing, digestion and many other benefits. I estimate, that 99.5% of the population is unaware of the benefits or means of altering thought patterns and transforming body chemistry. And because most of our thoughts and habits are occurring within the unconscious part of the mind, guided relaxation is one of the most efficient and gentlest methods to produce these improvements. This first book is aimed at supporting children in our fast and confusing world and helping parents and carers of children aged approximately three to seven years to achieve easier bedtime routines. I have really enjoyed imagining and writing this relaxation book and it is my sincere hope that many children and their families can gain benefit by using it.
