Have you ever had Stem Wave (sound wave) therapy? There’s a lot of research the chose significant improvement with tears and tendinitis. I’m not ready for surgery so I thought I would give it a try.

It imitates an injury which causes the body to increase its inflammatory response . It activates fibroblasts and osteoblasts, so the body can repair.

I’ll lyk how it goes!!

Recognize that the THING that you say you want won’t come to you right away.
❓can you commit to it anyway
❓can you do it without immediate results

Most animals procrastinate because they are designed for action for the immediate result like food, shelter, sex, etc…this is what kept us alive.
❓can you be more emotionally evolved than that?

Whether it’s your relationship with exercise, binging on junk or planning your meals ahead…can you improve your relationship with delayed gratification to get the job done❓

🍪 would you be able to say no to a small cookie for eight minutes for a larger cookie?
🍪 would you be able to say no to a small cookie for three hours to get a larger cookie?
🍪 would you be able to say no to a cookie because you know you had enough for the day and that doesn’t align with your goals?

Delaying gratification is not something animals are good at. It goes against the primal instinct of food NOW. But we are more evolved.

The stoics believed that will power is like a muscle 💪 🧠 . So if you don’t actively use that muscle, why would you be surprised then that your muscle is not very strong?

Have you even ever asked yourself how do I develop my willpower muscle? Or do you just get mad you don’t have it?

•If you choose to lift heavy, you will do less reps (8-12ish)
•if you choose to lift lighter (or only have lighter weights), to will do more reps (>24).
•a good way to access your effort is if you’ve done 35+ and can keep on going, you probably need more weight.
•slow it down! Fast isn’t better! (Save that for cardio)
•there are multiple ways to get to the same place.. you wanna put the muscle under tension to keep yourself strong… That’s how this works!

⚠️ I am not a trainer or a physical therapist. I’m a dietitian who teaches group aerobics classes who has good common sense around the way the body works and I have decent looking arms…Do what works for you!

I hate this answer!! it wasn’t about the women listening at all… I think it’s horrible advice and now women watching are going to question everything else they’ve been doing and do farmers carries.. just ANOTHER TRENDY answer. 👉 before you bite my head off, I’m not saying farmers carries aren’t good for you! They are great for your legs, your grip and your cardiovascular system… But it’s no one’s first choice for improving arms!! sidenote I’m kind of tired of hearing her talk about bro science… I don’t respect a hater (even if I sound like a hater🤣). if you’d like to see the rest of the interview

You are not uniquely doomed to the principles of weight loss. I know you don’t wanna hear it but it’s true. The sooner you can convince yourself otherwise… The sooner you can do something about it. The purpose of a goal is to give you direction not to beat yourself up if it doesn’t go the way you planned. If I’ve learned anything in life, it’s that nothing goes the way you plan… That’s why we have Plan B. ** if you truly believe something is wrong with your metabolism, then go to your doctor and get blood work!

Halloween might be over but pumpkin season isn’t. These could be a great snack for your kids or even something to bring to work that isn’t another dessert.

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 350°. Make sure to check on them so they aren’t burning.

They are a wonderful source of fiber and other minerals .

Having food as back up is a smart strategy for keeping you on track!!

Before you say, but they’re really high in sodium… Ask yourself do you even know how much sodium you should have in a day? And do you know how much sodium is in this meal?
